Welcome to the Hillside Hideaway in historic Marietta, OH. This A-frame cabin style home features 3 levels with a stunning view overlooking Marietta and The Ohio River. The outdoor space is top notch! Features include a deck that encompasses the entire front of the home, private balcony off the loft, and another deck nestled under the trees in the rear of the home. Hillside Hideaway offers 3 floors of living space. Ground level features a family room with a sofa, side chair with ottoman, 50” Roku TV, and a queen size bed is set up in one portion of the space for sleeping quarters. A full bathroom is on this level. One half of this level features a 1 car attached garage with the laundry in the garage. The second level is a showstopper with the exposed wood beams, floor to ceiling stone fireplace and spiral staircase leading to the loft. A galley style kitchen with bar seating for 4 and a dining table for 4 is on this level. The cozy living room features a 50” Roku TV, sofa and leather recliner. A desk and desk chair are located near the kitchen for any work/school needs. A queen bedroom with a Roku TV and a newly renovated full bathroom with tub/shower combo complete the second level. There are 3 sets of French doors leading to the front and back decks on this level, one from the living room, one in the kitchen and one from the bedroom. The third level is the loft. This level is accessed by the spiral staircase only and it is open to the second level. The loft is very spacious with a King bed and a Queen bed. There is a walk-in closet that runs the length of the loft and a Roku TV. A cozy sitting area with a leather oversized chair overlooks the sliding door that leads to a private balcony with stunning treetop views. There are multiple sets of patio furniture on the decks. Keep in mind in order to get these views, we are perched on a hilltop. While our portion of the driveway is paved, it is steep. The city streets leading to the property are also steep and narrow, but the view is stunning once you get to the top! Located within walking distance to Marietta College campus and sports fields. Just a few minutes to all downtown Marietta amenities, Peoples Bank Theatre, The Adelphia, Washington State Community College, Marietta aquatic center, Shrine event building, Broughton event complex, several outstanding restaurants, boutique shopping, antique shopping, Museums, historical landmarks, and not one but 2 rivers: The Ohio and Muskingum. The drive is steep but paved so choose an appropriate vehicle, but it’s a great place with more than enough room for 6 adults and a short drive (5-8 minutes tops) from downtown" - "We needed somewhere close to Marietta College to stay and visit with our daughter after a lacrosse game. This was perfect! It was clean and close by and the layout allowed us time to visit, but gave us all privacy for sleeping! River Rock Cottage is a fully furnished 3 bedroom Victorian style home. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms are adjoining and entrance to the upstairs bath from all rooms is through twin bedroom. Youll have the entire home for your family and friends. The inviting front porch is a great place to unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of small town living. Our kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience and has everything you need to prepare a meal should you choose to eat 'in.' We have a grill for outdoor cooking and outdoor seating on the back deck for dining. Our large dining room table will accommodate your large family gatherings! We have wireless internet as well as Roku TV in 2 rooms, with flat screen TV. We offer 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, 1 with a 2 twin beda. & trundle, 1 with a full size bed, accessed through twin bedroom but can close doors for privacy. - "The property was in great condition. A great remodeled apartment right in the middle of everything in historic Marietta. We enjoyed walking to all of the restaurants, shops, rivers and historical places within 10-15 minutes. One thing to be aware of is the First Fridays is a big event in Marietta. The street to get to the parking lot (Butler St) is closed off from Front St during that event. Just go from Second St to Butler St and you can get in. Again great place to stay!"

Our space is a beautifully restored historic ballroom that inhabits the entire third floor of this 1800's downtown building. It's a rare find that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. You will now find 3 separate bedrooms, all with queen beds. One of the bedrooms is a loft style room that overlooks the ballroom, which is now open concept kitchen, dining and living area. You will find one full bathroom and another half bathroom. There are also two separate work spaces in the apartment.

There are 3 TV's, each equipped with a Roku - they each have a Netflix account, YouTube account, and several other apps that are available for use. We do not have traditional cable TV.

When you arrive and walk into this rv you'll find it to be spacious and inviting with plenty of room to stretch out. The campground is family owned and very friendly it offers many amenities such as a shower house, playground, basketball court, horseshoes, cornhole and a boat ramp so bring your boat, kayaks, jet skis etc. the campground is relatively small with around 50 rvs. The campground is just 2 miles from Historical Downtown Marietta Ohio which offers history, quaint shops, restaurants, a walking and bicycle path and if you like to swim the aquatic center.

Perfect place to decompress and recover from everything life like to throw your way. " - "Our car got stuck trying to pull in the driveway due to uphill and loose gravel. It took a running start each time to get to the house. Then the only entrance to the house was thru the basement and up very steep and narrow staircase. Ok i guess for young folks but not good for senior citizens. The water was horrible. Felt slimy and stunk like fish pond water. Host did provide lots of drinking water which was greater appreciated. The location was great, secluded with lots of trees and outdoor space. "

The property was originally constructed in 1937 and was home to a number of businesses over the years. After we acquired the property at the beginning of 2023, we spent about 11 months renovating the space. You will now find four beautiful apartments in the building.

They have a beach volleyball court, kids playground, basketball courts, and walking trails. Boat rentals are available at the Marina. Guided Kayaking Programs are offered throughout the season. You can also fish to catch catfish, bullheads, bass, perch and walleye.

- "Property is nice and clean, manager is responsive and easy to work with. Good communication. Pool is large, toys and equipment included. This is not a five star hotel location, but is in a very quiet, mountainous (as mountainous as it gets in SE Ohio) location. House is a little difficult to find, but it is set back a bit. Air conditioning works great, water pressure is a bit low, kitchen well stocked with utensils and appliances. Bathrooms large and accommodating. Good location for four to six people to spend a few days enjoying some quiet country life."

Looking to relax and unplug. This peaceful, quiet, cozy cabin is just the place. Cabin has a loft with a full & twin bed. There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. There is also tables and outside shower on 15x40’ deck. The fire pit is great on those chilly mountain evenings. 10-20 mins. to historical Belpre, Marietta OH & Parkersburg WVA

The space
The cabin was built in September 2021 and our property is just under 2 acres. The property is surrounded by woods and meadows of neighboring properties. The view is beautiful. The cabin is detached from our home, however, both share the same 15x40’ covered deck which overlooks the meadow. The stone fire pit area is directly off the deck.

When you first enter the cabin there is a small kitchenette with table to the left and full bath (shower only-no tub) to the right. Straight ahead is bedroom area with a queen bed, shelf with rod for clothing and a cedar chest for extra blankets and linens.

There is a ladder to get to the loft. One side of loft has a full size bed and the other has a twin bed. The highest point of the loft area is under 5 foot. The lofts were designed to sleep children.

The kitchenette has a small microwave, mini fridge and K-cup machine. You will find an assortment of tea, hot chocolate and coffee k-cups as well as some fresh baked goods when you check in. There is also complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge.

We welcome you to use the deck and outside kitchen. There is a full size refrigerator with freezer for additional food storage. There is not an ice maker but we will provide ice for drinks upon request. There is also a gas grill, charcoal grill and flat top grill for cooking. Plates, cups, glasses and eating & cooking utensils are provided and located in cabin.

Please note that we do not have wifi in the cabin. There is a TV, but it is antenna only.

We are generally here to greet our guests and show you the cabin and answer any questions. Late arrivals (after 9-10 pm) are self-check in.

When you arrive, come to the back deck. The cabin is at the far end of the deck and it is unlocked for guest arrival. The key will be hanging on hook under the paper towel holder.

The Farmhouse at 169 South 5th, is located in historic McConnelsville, Ohio. Located just two blocks from downtown, & just across from the Cornerstone South church, & overlooking the Muskingum River.

This Farmhouse was completely restored to its current charm in the spring of 2017. You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"!

McConnelsville is known for its rich history, & is home to the famous Twin City Opera House, among many other interesting landmarks.

This is a large apartment (over 1,000 square feet) on the second floor overlooking the square, Opera House (where you can see $4 movies with $2 popcorn) and courthouse in the center of McConnelsville. It is decorated with military and antique items from the building. There are approximately 20 steps to the apartment from the street. Zanesville, Marietta and Athens are all about 45 minutes away. Jessie Owens State Park for fishing and hiking are just out of town.

The space
There are several steps up to the front porch. Once inside you will notice that it has the original dark wood trim throughout.

On the main floor you will find an entryway with a coat rack. From the living room to the dining room there are pocket doors. The living room has 2 loveseats, a decorative mantlepiece and a smart TV. The dining room has a decorative fireplace and a table that seats 6.

The half bath is off of the dining room.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, glasses, silverware, knives, cooking utensils, a waffle maker, crock pot, pots and pans, ice bucket, toaster, coffee pot with pods, microwave, spices, S&P, and sugar.

There is a door to the back yard and a door to the upstairs from the kitchen.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms.
The first bedroom has a queen bed ane 2 dressers and is decorated with gold colors.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and is floral themed. There is a bombay dresser and a closet.
The third bedroom is violet and blue with a full sized bed, the closet that goes up to the attic and a dresser.

There are 2 full bathrooms upstairs. One has a shower. The other bathroom has a tub and a double sink.

The backyard has a table and chairs with a charcoal grill for outside cooking and dining.

You may park in the back of the house or on the street.

An eclectic loft apartment centrally located in the heart of historic downtown Marietta that has been recently updated with new tile, concrete countertops and appliances. Constructed in the late 1800's, the building was home to the Atlantic Tea Company and has remained substantially mercantile on the ground floor and living quarters upstairs.

The space is on the second floor of a two story mixed use building with a narrow staircase in the front and spiral stairs to a small deck off the bedroom in the rear. There is no handicap accessibility. There is also a claw foot tub in the bathroom that is a bit higher than normal.
