The Chalet is located on a wooded lot, contiguous to woods, and about 1000 ft from Lake Harmony. There you will find Split Rock Lodge which includes an outdoor bar (sometimes Band on Saturday nights), a restaurant, and a lovely open space for outdoor weddings. We don’t use Split Rock beach.

Our Lake Harmony Estates beach is more private and located a short drive next to our parking area, canoe, and community house. There you will find a lake swimming area, sandy beach, picnic tables, and beach volleyball. Our canoe is located there and free to our guests.

Cozy lakefront chalet perfect for family or couple getaways! Our home accommodates up to 8 guests (4 adults + kids). We only allow a max of 4 adults because we are concerned about parties.

You will feel peace and quiet at the house but also be super close to all the amenities. The house is on a lake and surrounded by trees, but it is located in a neighborhood so we ask that you be very respectful of noise during your stay.

This is a family house that we want you to enjoy as much as we do, but we also hope you take very good care of it for us! The house feels cozy, but spacious as well. The upper level has the most lovely lake view, 2 bedrooms (full/double bed), full bathroom, full kitchen, & living/dining area with fireplace & smart TV. There is also a deck with a bbq grill and picnic table.

The lower level has 2 bedrooms (1 full, 1 bunk bed - single over full), full bathroom, laundry room & game room, & a wood burning stove which heats the place up quite nicely.

In addition there is an open loft with a queen sized bed.

Skiing at Big Boulder and Jack Frost is just 4 miles. Camelback skiing and water park is approximately 20 minutes away.
During your stay, you will enjoy the use of Lake Towamensing, its beach, pool, playground, clubhouse and restaurant. Live entertainment is often presented. Lake Towamensing is stocked for fishing (license required), and paddle boats, rowboats are available to rent. The Lake Association allow us to have 8 badges for the amenities. This gives us the peace of mind that all of our guests will enjoy the house and leave it in excellent condition so that the subsequent renters can also have great experiences. We do have a no smoking policy inside the house, as well as “no Pets.” Note: We do not provide linens and towels.

- "We throughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very nice and the property is very clean. It had loads of amenities. The only thing was missing was the Playstation Powe cord and kids really wanted to play that. Other than that it was spot on." - "Great vacation home. The only complaint was the the kids room had some trash left there under the bed from the previous guests (like a 32 ounce big gulp cup under the bed) and the drawers had evidence that they were never really cleaned out much. One of the bathrooms also had a moldy shower liner, that germophobes would not appreciate. If I were the owners I would get on the maid service to do more than a superficial cleaning. We would definitely go back!"

Welcome to our recently renovated beautiful and peaceful 5 bedroom chalet nestled in the woods and frequently visited by deer and other wildlife. The lake is ideal for kayaking; the upper lake which is 100 feet away is ideal for kayaking and swimming. The house comes with gorgeous views of the lake and sleeps up to 12 people.

Amenities include: pet-friendly home, outdoor hot tub, pool table, foosball, sauna, expansive deck and lots of board games to keep guests entertained. In addition we have strong WiFi and internet to allow for remote work situations (but we discourage it!)

There's an outdoor swing and fire pit as well for guests enjoyment. For kids, we have an upstairs loft game area that is perfect for hanging out.

New for 2024, the kitchen stove/oven and the outdoor propane grill were replaced.

We are 10-20 mins from Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Aquatopia, Camelback, Mt. Airy Casino, The Crossings Premium outlet mall and more. We are also only 1 hour 45 mins away from NYC and Philadelphia.

Upon booking, a short term rental agreement is required to be signed per township ordinances. We usually send the agreement out a month prior to check in.

You'll enter into the main level climbing 5 stairs thru front door, on this level is a living room with vault ceilings, oversized windows, new AC and heat units, wood burning fireplace, recliner chair and most comforting couch, cozy hang out place to read books or play games, one open bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen and dinning room. The kitchen features everything you'd need to cook a gourmet family meal with plenty of counter space. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and one full bathroom. One having twin-over-full bunk bed and one sofa bed for the kids or singles in your group and the other bedroom has a queen bed.

Each bedroom features thick plush memory foam mattress.

This chalet is only a short walk away from the Island pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, and Recreation Equipment Rental (“Rental Shack”).

Arrowhead Lake is a community with 24-hour security to ensure the safety and security of its residents. To maintain the beauty, safety, and security of the community, ALL renters and visitors of age 6 and up are required to be registered and pay community fees BEFORE the check-in date to have access to any ALCA facility, amenity and events. These Fees are mandatory.

We cover most of the community fees for your stay, please read below for details:

1. Registration fee is $35 which we INCLUDE if your booking is processed at least 3 days before check-in.
LATE Registration fee (per community requirement): $75 NOT INCLUDED - if your booking is processed within 3 days before check-in.

2. Vehicle gate pass: Reservation INCLUDES ONE FREE vehicle gate pass.
For 3 nights+ stay, you will get up to 2 free vehicle gate passes.
For long stay (4 nights+), you will get up to 3 free vehicle gate passes.
***Additional vehicle gate pass fee is $20 each per stay.

3. FREE 4 temporary membership passes will be INCLUDED with your booking.
***Membership passes are mandatory for anyone age 6 and up.

Arrowhead Lake Community amenities accessible with your temporary membership passes:

- There are 2 lakes and 4 beaches available, (swimming is at your own risk). Each beach is equipped with a playground, picnic tables, charcoal grills, boating/fishing docks, and roped-off swimming areas.
- Three outdoor heated pools (Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting).
- The Lodge is the focal point for a long list of events throughout the year including live music, cookouts, karaoke, movies, educational programs, numerous activities, fitness center, adult billiards room and library, etc.
- A "Family Game Room" is available at the Welcome Center Lower Level and features ping pong, air hockey, pool tables and kids games.
- Several playgrounds, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pits available from Spring to October.

Welcome to our Happy Hideaway in the Poconos! We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do. This cozy cabin is the perfect setting for a weekend getaway, a family vacation week or a holiday celebration with family and friends. Our air-conditioned 3 bedroom, 2 bath Pet-Friendly Home offers so much more than your typical hotel stay. The Happy Hideaway is your home away from home! So leave your hectic daily grind behind and come enjoy the quiet tranquility of our home in the private community of Locust Lake Village.

You enter our home through the screened porch. This porch is a perfect place to relax, spend some quiet time and appreciate the beautiful wooded setting. An electric fireplace and fairy lights add character to the porch.
Stepping inside you find an open concept first floor that includes a kitchen, dining area, living area, Master Bedroom and full bathroom. A coffee bar is set up to greet you after the trip to the Poconos. The fully stocked kitchen includes electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and many small appliances. We’ve got everything you need to cook and serve a great meal.
The dining area has a traditional wood table and chairs set for six, but it can be expanded using a leaf stored in the washer/dryer closet off the kitchen. Sliding doors off the dining area open onto the deck which has a gas grill with Propane tanks which we supply.
The living room has a vaulted ceiling with two brand new skylights, and this gives an open view of the second floor. Living room seating including a sofa, loveseat and two recliners and allows for a fun movie night or board game play. An antique style popcorn machine stands in the living room for a perfect snack during movies and games!! The flat-screen tv is mounted above the wood-burning stove. All televisions in our home are outfitted with Roku Systems. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Completing the first floor are a cozy Queen Size bedroom and a full bath with stall shower.
Up the stairs to the second floor and you step into the loft area which is set up as a den/game room. A Wii System with games (both adult and child friendly) are provided along with a Roku enabled TV. Also, a bookshelf is filled with a variety of books and board games.
Upstairs we also have two additional bedrooms each with two double beds. A full bath with tub/shower combo completes the second floor.
For your enjoyment we have a fire pit with Adirondack Chair seating and fairy lights surrounding the area. Two kayaks are available for use within the village only. We also have bicycles, a variety of outdoor game equipment, and a gas golf cart (upon request-extra charges apply).
Locust Lake Village offers three main lakes, swimming areas, beaches, two separate designated areas for dogs to swim, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball nets, horseshoe pits, turkey trot golf, playgrounds, picnic and cooking areas by the lakes, and two of the lakes are stocked for fishing. The Chalet hosts events which in the past have included; BBQs, Trivia Games, Paint and Sip Evenings and a Chili Cook-off. Guests are invited to take part in these events-so make sure to check the calendar for details!
We are approximately a 15 minute drive to two great ski areas; Jack Frost and Big Boulder. Drive 15 minutes from the house and go to Kalahari Resort. Kalahari provides entertainment all year round for adults and kids with their indoor waterpark, 7-D movie theater, virtual reality action game, spa and much more. Drive approximately 30 minutes and you will find Camelback Resorts, the Crossings Shopping Outlets, Pocono Raceway, a casino and the town of Jim Thorpe for a old fashion train ride and strolling through quaint streets with many shops and restaurants. In our area there are Wineries, Breweries, and national hiking trails for you to soak in nature.

The host was quick to communicate before and during our visit. Perfect size for all of us, great having a bathroom for each bedroom. Got a lot of use out of the hot tub and pool table! Nice separation of living spaces with game room downstairs. Nice having individual mini split a/c units in each bedroom for everyone's own comfort level. Watching the Olympics on the huge tv in living was awesome while the kids had the projection tv downstairs for their shows. Wish the weather cooperated and we had the chance for campfires, tons of wood provided. The host responds quickly to any questions we had. The icemaker did not work which was a little inconvenient. Check in instructions should have included that you needed to go into the check in building with your car registration and get a pass before you go to the gate. I had already chosen a picture of a deer spirit as the centerpiece for the house prior to even buying it, so our deer friends let us know we found the right place! Our cozy chalet is located in the center of the Poconos just north of Mt. Pocono & is a perfect getaway for every season. - "We spent two nights at Brown Bear with two other families, totaling 12 people. The house is amazing and exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice, we were blown away when we arrived. You can tell the owners take extremely good care of their vacation home. Communication with Jena was smooth before and during our stay, she is very responsive and accommodating. The spacious large open LR, DR, and kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather. And the 4 bedrooms provided plenty of space for 3 families. The large master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite on the 1st floor was super comfortable. The 2nd floor has three more large bedrooms, two with en-suites, and one with a queen bed, twin over full bunk bed, crib, and toys. It was great that each family had their own bathrooms as well as a powder room on the 1st floor. The house was well-equipped with extra pack & plays, cookware, nice appliances, spices, condiments, board games, hand soap in every bathroom & kitchen, dishwasher pods, sound machines in the bedrooms, garbage bags, and paper towels. Situated on a peaceful street, we were only 17 minutes away from Shawnee Mountain. We had a fantastic time and would love to stay here again. The house is beautiful and has a great cabin feel with all the modern amenities. The wood details were very nice, just be mindful to wear slippers to avoid getting splinters."

Tucked away in the Pocono Mountains, Little Bear Lodge is the perfect mountain retreat! Cozy up by one of our three fireplaces in the winter, or lounge underneath the gazebo on our spacious patio in the summer. Our home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and can sleep 8. The kitchen is fully loaded and ready for cooks! Close to all of the Pocono's most popular ski resorts and situated in an amenity-rich community with five lakes, two pools, tennis courts, and more.

The space
In our main living room you'll find a gas fireplace and two plush couches for lounging. If you're musical, enjoy playing our piano, guitar, banjo, or ukulele.

Step outside to our patio (our outdoor living room!) you'll find a wood burning outdoor fireplace surrounded by comfortable couches. Enjoy our propane grill and serve meals al fresco at our outdoor dining table.

Our kitchen is fully loaded and ready to cook for a crowd! You'll find all the pots, pans, and utensils needed to make any meal, plus, you can help yourself to our oils and spices.

Three of our four bedrooms are on the first floor of the house. In the bunk room, you'll find a cozy space with two built in double beds and a fun library ladder to access the top one. In the mountain room, you'll find a queen sized bed and access to the patio through a sliding glass door. In the rustic room, you'll find two twin beds and views of the woods behind the house.

Our downstairs bathroom is easily accessible from all three downstairs bedrooms and features a woodland creatures wallpaper and a bath / shower combo.

Upstairs, there's a smaller loft living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace, a bathroom with a shower, and the lookout room—a bedroom with a queen bed and lofted ceilings.

Our home is equipped with two mini split AC units—one in the living room and one in the loft. There is also a window AC in the upstairs master bedroom. While there are no ACs in the downstairs bedrooms, we are on a mountain and it tends to cool down quite a bit at night! Every room has a fan.

In our community, you'll find five lakes for boating, swimming, and fishing. There are also two pools, a tennis court, basketball court, and several playgrounds. Please note that the community requires short-term rental guests to purchase wristbands to use these amenities for $10/each (good for the entire duration of your stay). Wristbands are not required if you don't intend to use community ammenities.

You'll be able to access the whole house and property, excluding an owner's closet and the garage.

If you like, you can also purchase wristbands to use the community amenities including two pools, five lakes, a playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Wristbands are $10/person and good for your entire stay.

Our home comes equipped with 2 baby gates @ both the top and bottom of the stairs (retract a gate brand), a pack-n-play, slumberpod upon request, a high chair, children's books/toys (geared towards younger kids), and white noise machines in each bedroom. We also have room darkening shades in our bunk room and upstairs queen bedroom.

Towamensing Trails is a four-season amenity-filled community with a 195-acre lake that permits swimming (Memorial to Labor Day) and fishing. Only electric motors are allowed, so your vacation will be peaceful. Guests will be required to wear wristbands while using the amenities. 8 wristbands are provided with the rental (must be worn by all guests over the age of 5).

The space
Pet lovers will appreciate the fully fenced backyard which provides a safe space for dogs to play. The wire mesh fence extends from the top rail to the ground keeping your pets contained. There has never been a reported escape, though deer do jump the fence often to graze in the yard.

Parents will love the multiple game room spaces to keep the kids happy and entertained. The bunkroom also has a TV in addition to the the 3 others in the house.

If you enjoy cooking, you will appreciate the well appointed kitchen with hickory cabinets and stone countertops.

The back deck is a fantastic space to star gaze or enjoy a meal el fresco.

-No Trash Bags are to be placed outside the home. This attracts animals. All garbage is to be placed in the estates' trash compacting area.

-Guests will have access to 6 guest amenity fobs. Kids under 5 do not need one. These fobs allow guests to access all the amenities/activities within the community. There are only 6 guest amenity fobs allowed per household. Please return all fobs when you leave. There will be a $50 replacement fee for each missing fob. Guests interested in purchasing extra guest passes to use the amenities will pay $15 per guest per day

- Guests must read and follow the Rules and Regulations of the Saw Creek Estates Association. Amenity hours, Activity Events Calendar, Updated Rules & Regulations can be found on the Saw Creek website.

You may also enjoy hiking throughout the trails of the 65 acre plot the house is located on as well as pitching a tent along the drive in an open space for a more rustic feel. White water rafting and biking on trails are just a mile away!

This house was designed with a breezeway connecting 2 very different units. The entire house has been under a vast remodel that took a year and a half to complete. Nothing was spared in the remodel to give guests a one of a kind experience. In order to give an accurate description of the property the main house located on the right side hosts a full kitchen with new granite counter tops, all new appliances, a kuerig, toaster, and an eat in dining space. Also included are dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and glassware for your convenience. The main house on the right side also boasts a card/bumper pool table, a jacuzzi tub, a balcony overlooking the wilderness, washer/dryer, propane fireplace, and a large wrap around porch with furniture and a fire pit. There are two full bedrooms with two queen beds on the main house right side as well as a leather futon located above the shower of the master bathroom, with two large sectional sofas providing more sleeping space if needed. The main house has two full bathrooms with the master having both a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The other bathroom is located in the first floor bedroom and has a shower stall. Also included is a propane grill and patio furniture for your enjoyment.

The unit on the left we call the Chalet can accommodate up to seven people comfortably with three separate rooms. One having a queen bed with a leather sofa, another with a king bed, and two twin beds located on the third floor with a pull down ladder(great spot for the kids). The Chalet has one full bathroom and a small kitchenette with new appliances and an eating area. Other amenities include a kuerig, microwave, toaster, glassware, dishes, and silverware. Located on the second floor of the Chalet, with a calming view of the forest, enjoy catching up on your favorite book in the loft above the kitchenette.

Extra amenities for the entire property include satellite tv, satellite starlink internet, city water, ductless heat and air conditioning, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a gated entrance.

Guests may encounter wildlife from time to time. Please be careful in and around the property. This house is surrounded by a forest with complete privacy, wildlife will find its way around the property so please respect the animals and be aware of your surroundings.
