At equal distance from Valencia and Alicante, the villa on 110m2 with all mod cons and 7a garden is situated in Orba in the residential area of ​​La Plana Alta. The house is built on 2 levels, only the main level is rented out. The lower apartment is not occupied during rentals. From the Naya (covered terrace) or the edge of the private swimming pool (4x8m), you have an outstanding view over the valley of Orba (with lemon, orange, almond, olive trees) and the Mediterranean sea in the background. Our house has 2 bedrooms with new A/C, 1 with double bed (with an extra bed for a 5th person), the other with 2 single beds. Living room, dining room, bathroom with shower / toilet and washing machine. The fully equipped kitchen gives you direct access to the pool and terrace. A gas plancha is at disposal on the the lower terrace. Petanque track of 1,5x9m with a stone table and benches next.

- "The villa has a stunning vista. We loved sitting at any time of the day looking over the valley. The pool is lovely and clean and is just wonderful when you are staying in the height of summer as we were! The villa is set on a large plot with lots of areas with sun and shade. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fridge could be a bit colder but then again it was so hot when we visited. Would definitely recommend long life milk rather than fresh milk to ensure will last longer and use anything quickly if tends to go off quickly. We loved the amount of games books etc that were available to use. We most especially loved the pequante set and loved playing it in the evening at back of villa at the area set up for it. There was some cat poo but was old so we just kicked it aside. After all it does look like a large cat litter for them to use! The kids also loved the water tennis set which was such fun. We also all loved the noodles provided for using in the pool. The air con in the bedrooms was well needed and meant we could all get a good sleep. The mattresses were very comfortable. The curtains are very thin. I took an eye mask which did help for the mornings I wanted to sleep in as the main bedroom faces east so it does get bright very early with the morning sun. The kids rooms is round the side facing south so doesn’t get so bright which was great. We tended to eat in as you do need to drive to get anywhere but can recommend pizzeria piscina. Fab villa!! Highly recommend!!"

The area is generally quiet and peaceful. There is very little traffic and the pool and terraces areas are well screened by plants etc. There is a wall with a lockable gate at the road side of the property.

The house SLEEPS 6 in two twin rooms - with separate bathroom and shower room adjacent and one double room with ensuite shower room (with a separate lockable entrance) at a lower level overlooking the pool (floodlit at night if you choose!) and the lower terrace.

The large open plan living room with bar and kitchen area has two french windows opening onto the spacious roofed terrace. The dining area can be curtained off at an archway to provide a comfortable double futon SLEEPING 2 additional guests if required. Dining furniture is also provided on the covered terrace area with a large awning for extra shade when needed.

A portable barbecue is available for the use of guests and sunbeds and umbrellas are also available on both terraces.

WiFi (recently installed modern fibre) is available in the living area and there are two TV's with DVD's in the double ensuite room and the living room.There is generous parking for one car on the property adjacent to the entrance and ample street parking nearby.

ELECTRICITY supply in the house has been a problem for some clients in 2019 and 2020. At times it has cut out from the main supply requiring adjustment to the fuse box in the house. PLEASE SEE SOME GUEST REVIEWS . This has now been resolved by the electricity company and we do not anticipate further problems.

Casita Blanca is a family holiday home and well furnished and equipped as such. It is cleaned and service weekly by our housekeepers who may be contacted if any problem arises during your stay.

The floodlit pool has built in steps and safety mats and is situated on the lower paved terrace with sun beds and umbrellas. It is a good size at 4m by 8m and is an even depth overall (between shoulder and chin on an adult) - perfect for aqua aerobics or polo!

The garden terraces are planted with fruit trees and tropical plants and layered to gravel for easy maintenance. They are not suitable for outdoor games but may be cool and shady to sit in.

We explored the amazing beaches of Cumbre del Sol and Ambolo. Our recent visit to Orbeta gave us a chance to relax with a glass of wine on the piazza and celebrate our almost 50th anniversary. Orba is quite a sleepy little town (except during the fiesta!) but has numerous bars and restaurants whose food is both excellent and reasonably priced. Have to put a plug in here for the Awraba Restaurant in Orba. Fantastic value set menu and lovely surroundings in rear walled gardens. Would suggest you book! There are numerous towns and beaches within 40 mins drive and would recommend a visit to Denia, Altea and Moraira. Beach wise definitely try El Portet next to Moraira. Not too crowded and it’s great for young kids, as the bay is very protected and the beach slopes very gently into the sea. All in all my family voted this to be one of our best holidays yet, in terms of villa and location. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful summer retreat and will hopefully return one day ourselves.
