- "This villa is absolutely fabulous! My husband and I and our four children, ages 12,10, 9 and 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is very spacious with 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a lovely pool. The grounds of the villa are immaculate with lots of different zones for dining...and playing 'hide and seek'. The beach is about a 30 minute walk away but there of lots of bars and restaurants near by, including Burger King and KFC, and a very handy ALDI just across the road. The only negative that I found was that the final cleaning charge and payment for electricity usage was not mentioned on the original booking through VRBO which cost us 265 Euro and also 500 Euro deposit has to be paid in cash on arrival, which had the owner not informed us about would have left us without cash to spend during our stay. This is only a minor point as we had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend this villa."

We appreciate that check in & check out times can often make it difficult to find flights that work for you. Where we can we are happy to arrange a later check out or earlier check in for a small charge.
We try to be as flexible as possible, just ask us before booking if you wish to take advantage of flexi times as it does depend on the house being available.
The standard check out time is 11am. The standard check in time is 4pm.

BEDROOMS
1 single room, 1 double room and a master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and balcony. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and lots of clothes hangers. A hairdryer is also available.
Bath towels, beach towels & bed linen are all provided and the house will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival.

Additional charges:
1) Electricity in Spain is very expensive so we do have to charge a nominal fee for usage. This is €0.40 per kwh. A meter reading will be taken at the point of arrival and departure and the electricity cost will be taken from your security deposit. A usual fee is around €7 to €12 per week but of course this depends on your personal usage.

THE BEACH
Carabassi Beach is an award winning Blue Flag beach, with miles and miles of golden sands edged by dunes and pine woods.
A designated nature area, with specially constructed boardwalks to carry you across the dunes to the beach where you will find beach bars (Chiringuitos), Lifeguards, Sunbeds and Parasols. There is also a Watersports area and for that 'all over' tan, a dedicated naturist zone.
The beach isn't just for the daytime though, why not come down at sunset where the beach bars play chilled music whilst you sip a cocktail or visit the "Life" Beach Club to party on the sand after dark in the summer months.
If this all sounds too much don't worry, the beach is 6 miles long with many areas deserted, so finding a quiet spot to sit and read is easy.

GRAN ALACANT
Built upon and around a natural peninsula stretching into the Mediterranean, the resort of Gran Alacant is a hidden gem. An area popular with Northern Europeans, it is highly regarded as one of the best beachside locations on the Costa Blanca.
Having slowly developed over a number of years, the resort was originally designed to be a seaside retreat for second home owners and consists of a number of small urbanisations each with their own architectural style.
Homeowners today consist of Spaniards from places inland such as Madrid, Norwegians, Swedes, French, Russians and British. This gives the area a truly international feel with a friendly, laid back atmosphere.
Many people live here all year round so there is always something to do.

There area has only one hotel so prices aren't inflated for package tourists, which means eating out and having a beer or glass of wine is amazing value.
All the usual amenities are available including numerous restaurants serving almost every type of food you could wish for.
Shops, supermarkets, chemist, Doctors and a weekly market at the end of the street on Thursdays are also available.

A wide range of activities and sports can be found in and around the local area including snorkelling, fishing, paragliding and scooter & bicycle hire.
Numerous Golf courses are also within easy reach by car.
If you do not fancy hiring a car the circular bus will give you the opportunity to see Gran Alacant´s wonderful scenery, sea breeze and charm plus taking you to the shopping areas, places of interest and the beautiful Carabassi beach.

Or stroll around the beautiful, vibrant marina, abundant with millionaire yachts before hitting the shopping streets, or the famous Fish Market where you will find all manner of seafood, fresh from the Mediterranean Sea.
The World Health Organisation has voted Alicante as one of the healthiest areas in the world to live.
The Costa Blanca has an excellent year round climate. The humidity is relatively low and being surrounded by mountains, the city is protected from northerly winds in Winter, giving the area more than 2800 hours of sunshine per year.

Just by the swimming pool there is a table and chairs and a brick built BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. At the front of the house there is another table and four chairs, which is ideal for enjoying breakfast or afternoon coffee in the sunshine! At the rear of the house there is a great outdoor chill out area with a table tennis table, which provides hours of endless fun, for your enjoyment.

On the front covered terrace, there is a comfortable sofa and two chairs with a matching coffee table, to enjoy morning coffee, a late night drink or some welcome shade from the mid-day sun!

The gardens, which have a range of plants and shrubs including birds of paradise plants and beautiful palm trees. The gardens can be lit at night creating a relaxing ambience in which to unwind after a busy day lazing by the pool.

On the roof top solarium you can enjoy views across the open scrub land to the front of the property and views towards Alicante airport at the back.

Moving inside this great villa, the air-conditioned lounge is beautifully furnished with no expense spared! There is a 3 seater and 2 seater leather sofa, a bookcase with a range of novels and autobiographies for your enjoyment. There is a sideboard with a stylish lamp, a standard lamp, a rug and various pictures. For your entertainment, there is a 32” flat screen TV (with UK terrestrial and Satellite channels) which combines all radio stations, plus there is free Wi-Fi. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs and a sideboard which contains a number of children's games, local information and leaflets of places of interest.

The kitchen has everything you would expect, including a fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, toastie machine, iron and ironing board and coffee machine as well as a superb selection of utensils and crockery. There is even a full range of plastic utensils for use by the pool.

The stylish, air-conditioned master bedroom has a king sized bed, bedside cabinets with drawers, lamps, a 6 drawer chest of drawers and some pictures and a full length mirror in the passageway. A dressing area leads toward the en suite facilities which has a double built in wardrobe, which has a built in safe for your valuables. There is also a thoughtfully provided hair-dryer for your use, to save on your packing. The en suite for the master bedroom contains a bath with shower over, WC, bidet, basin, and a stylish wall-mounted mirror which can be lit.

The air-conditioned second bedroom has twin beds and a bedside cabinet, a lamp, pictures and a 6 drawer chest of drawers, a mirror and two double built in wardrobes. There is shower room/WC next door to this bedroom, containing a walk in shower, WC, hand basin and wall mounted mirror which is lit. For those guests travelling with a young family there is a travel cot and high chair for your convenience, at no extra charge!

The villa itself is in a very quiet area whilst being just a short walk from the local shop and a good selection of restaurants. Our family of 10 included 3 generations ranging in ages from 16 weeks to 75 years and we found it had something to offer for all ages. Star of the show was the lovely swimming pool where we spent many hours cooling off from the very hot July weather! The booking of the villa was straightforward, and additional requests were quickly answered. The drive from the airport was straightforward and parking directly outside the villa was simple and convenient. The villa itself was well equipped and had everything we needed, it was really spacious inside and had well-maintained garden areas and a choice of outdoor canopied seating areas. The large upstairs balcony which is open to the sky was great for stargazing in the evenings and provided amazing views of the surrounding area. A great place for a family holiday."
