Beautiful quiet neighborhood in Puyallup with 2/3 acre back yard. 700 sq ft Daylight basement turned into a posh modern pad with private patio, separate entrance at back of home. Comfortable queen size posturpedic bed in bedroom, queen size sofa sleeper and 2 single futons (best for kids) for extra sleeping. Fully equipped kitchen including stove, refrigerator, Ninja coffee maker, microwave (no dishwasher). Large backyard for playing games or just relaxing. The house has a great view of the valley and to the west of Tacoma and the Olympic Mountains. We are 5 minutes from The Washington State Fairgrounds and Good Samaritan Hospital. Great accommodations if you have a short term work assignment or are transitioning to or from the area like Costco, REI or JBLM. Uber is a really popular way of getting around. We are also just a few minutes from the Sounder Train Station in Sumner or Puyallup that travels to Seattle with special runs to Mariner and Seahawk games.

The owners were so friendly and kind and the Sounder train was close and useful." - "Andrew and Vivian are wonderful hosts and the property was absolutely perfectfor our needs. It was immaculately clean on our arrival and even had a sound machine with nature sounds playing, which made for a lovely, comfortable, serene space. The kitchenette had everything we needed during our stay including a full-sized fridge, an induction stove top, as well as a keurig machine, microwave, convection oven, toaster and blender. The hosts also provided a basket of small breakfast items, coffee, condiments and snacks which was very much appreciated. The hosts were good communicators (recommend texting them directly via number on the VRBO booking). We had taken an early flight to attend the Taylor Swift concert and they kindly allowed us an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, fluffy towels and soft robes! Our hosts were very helpful with providing routes and info on the city and how to get to our destinations and overall this was a very positive experience! We would hightly recommend this rental to anyone in the Puyallup area. It is about a 40 mins from Seattle so keep that in mind if you are relying on Uber/Lyft. We had no issues getting a ride, even with the concert. Thank you to Andrew and Vivian-you were fabulous hosts and if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be back!"

The space consists of a spacious 2bed 1 bath apartment with a full kitchen, full bathroom, all bedrooms with closet and queen sizes beds, living room with couch (could sleep one) and 55” smart TV, free parking, wifi, garbage disposal, refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, washer and dryer in unit, heating, storage, and more.

We are pet-friendly; however, we do have a pet fee of $20 per pet per night if you want to bring your furry friend to our place. The payment request for this fee will be sent after the booking confirmation. After checkout, our cleaner will inspect the space for any damage, droppings, or other pet-related incidents. In the event of an accident or damage to our property, an additional fee will be charged. Please report any accidents prior to checking out. Please note that pets must not create a nuisance for other tenants in the building. If your dog tends to bark excessively, unfortunately, our place may not be suitable for them. Everything about this space is quiet and private. Outside enjoy a private hot tub, BBQ, fire pit & seating area amid tranquil nature. There is a one acre buffer between where you are situated and our neighbor. Deer & raccoons roam the property. Every now and then you will spot our cat Mr. Nacho.

We have everything you’ll need including a complimentary bottle of wine for those 21 and older. We have wine glasses, mugs, kuerig, microwave and mini fridge. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. We have towels and washcloths as well. For your convenience we also have robes.

Charcoal grill outside (you will need to bring briquettes) plus we have the utensils needed for grilling. Fire pit is outside, bring your own firewood to enjoy this feature.

You can see a view of Mount Rainier from the guest area. It is viewable through our deck. Our street is very private, and there are only a handful of homes located here, so it’s very serene. When you round the corner onto our street, you will see the most magnificent view of Mount Rainier!

Your hosts are a friendly couple who have lived in Puyallup for over a decade. They are happy to share tips and ideas on places to visit. Rey, one of your hosts, is a talented photographer who has traveled extensively across the world. He can provide recommendations for stunning photo spots and, during your stay, you can even book a photo session with him. Rey offers surprise proposal and engagement photography, as well as couple’s sessions, to capture your special moments.

Please keep in mind that this is a two-story home and your hosts live upstairs with two pugs. We've done the best we can to insulate the space when we remodelled the house, but you may still hear footsteps from our dogs or other noise from upstairs. We respect quiet hours for your comfort. Please keep this in mind when booking your stay with us.

>ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES<
Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. While early check-ins can't be guaranteed due to potential same-day check-outs, we'll inform you on the day if it's possible. When leaving the unit, please close and lock the windows and lock the sliding door.

>PARKING<
One parking space is available on a gravel pad directly next to The Brownie's entrance. Do not park on the carport or on the grass. Ensure the gate is closed completely for the safety of our dogs. The property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood on a 3/4 acre lot. Additional parking for secondary vehincles, camper vans 12ft and under, and small trailers may be available for an additional fee; please inquire first to be sure we can accomodate.

>NO SMOKING POLICY<
For the comfort of all guests, smoking/vaping or e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside the house or within 50 ft of the premises. Any evidence of smoking will incur an additional violation fee to deep clean the property.

>PETS<
We are happy to host families with up to two dogs. Unfortunately we are unable to allow cats due to host allergies. We require that all dogs have outgrown the puppy stage, are fully vaccinated, and housebroken. We do not accept puppies. A dog bed, bowls, and mini stairs are avaible for their comfort. Please be respectful and pick up after your pets. Please keep your dogs on a leash while outside for the safety of all our dogs. We have a fully fenced yard on 3/4 of an acre.

This unit is a semi detached mother in law apartment that is connected to the primary dwelling by a carport. It is centrally located in a quiet Puyallup neighborhood less than a mile from Good Samaritan hospital, the South Hill Mall, a variety of stores and restaurants and within walking distance to the Fair. The apartment has a private patio with seating area and includes off street parking, full kitchen with dishwasher, one bedroom, one bathroom and a small extra room that's perfect for use as an office space. The apartment comes stocked with kitchen necessities, a variety of toiletries in case you might have forgotten something, Wi-Fi and a TV that’s ready for you to log in and stream your favorite shows.

- "This was a wonderful option for my son and I to stay while he was showing at the state fair. Great location close to the livestock entrance gate. Enjoy the convenience of being nearby South-Hill Mall, shopping, restaurants, friendly and lively neighborhoods. The unit is just minutes to downtown Puyallup, Puyallup Fairgrounds, and many more. Also conveniently located close to Good Samaritan Hospital; also 20 minutes to Multicare Auburn Medical Center, and about 25 minutes to Tacoma General Hospital.

- "Served out purpose" - "Upon arrival, the property was easy to find per instructions sent ahead of time. Self check in is handy. The unit was clean but needed aired out as there was an interesting odor lingering. I opened windows to help with that, and noticed they weren’t locked. With all due efforts the windows in the bedroom and living area were not able to be locked. The building appears to be in the end stages of being resided. I only stayed one night as I was too tired from travel to find another place the first night, but did not rest well knowing the unit was not secure. I was not comfortable staying a second night even after a long day of being in a wedding. Property manager refunded the second night. With fixing the windows, it would be a decent place to stay."
