It is a unique new architectural style cottage with a large living room, with volted ceiling, a propane burning fireplace, 50”" Flatscreen TV with DVD/CD Player and Wi-Fi and a 6 ft. couch for more sleeping. It has 1 1/2 bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, conventional electric stove, oven, microwave and dish washer. Kitchen has bar-type counter with stools to seat four and a dining room with table and chairs that can seat up to four. We offer air mattresses and sleeping bag for an additional up front charge. Enjoy the mountain air and exciting activities in MacKerricher State Park with your pet, but please follow the rules. Dogs are allowed in campgrounds, picnic areas, and along roads, but must be kept on a leash, not to exceed 6 feet, at all times.

Pet excrement must be immediately collected by the pet handler and disposed of in a trash receptable, and pets must not be left unattended.

The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was quite comfortable. We tried the hot tub, but, the jets were not working, but the water was definitely hot enough. We called the host and they were pleasant and sent out a spa repair person who fixed it. We very much enjoyed the views and the 84 steps to the ocean was very pleasant."

This river is a nature preserve that can be enjoyed by kayaks or canoe that will take you up river where wild life abounds or to the ocean where the seals, crabs and birds will provide many hours of enjoyment.

This gem comes with a deck, small barbeque, comfortable rustic furnishings, flat screen TV with Blu-ray DVD and portable sound system (satellite radio). There is Wi-Fi giving you access to e-mail and the internet. There is a private bedroom with a queen-size bed and a spectacular sleeping alcove with floor to ceiling ocean views containing a second queen-size bed. Of course there is a full bath and fully equipped kitchen.
We call this treasure Seaside Serenity and it is about ten to fifteen minutes from Fort Bragg, close enough to enjoy great food and shopping yet far enough to provide total relaxation. Walk on the beach or through the dunes, be mesmerized by the waves or just lay on the deck with your favorite novel.
Well behaved dogs are welcomed and they are subject to a $100 one time pet fee. There is also a $125 cleaning charge per stay. We require a minimum three night stay for weekends and two nights during the week. If you want something special just ask!

Minor improvements that would make a solid impact: -- way better instructions for the wireless network. I couldn't get it working even after contacting Cathy as the instructions were a bit vague. I work with technology in my job so it wasn't user error. -- it can get quite warm in the cottage due to the wonderful skylights and windows. There are 2 portable floor fans but they were so clogged with dust that I couldn't risk an allergy flare up to use or to attempt to clean them. A screen on the front door would be nice to keep out the bugs - then that could be opened to get a lovely cross-breeze. -- there was a definite sulfur odor to the water, which was disclosed. However, my communication said some bottles of water were there so I only brought a couple with me. There was no water I could find -- had I known I could have stopped by the store before checking in. -- minor, but another point of setting clear expectations: the listing check out time states noon. In my check in instructions it said noon the top but 11am lower down."

Alder Cottage is a fully furnished rustic cottage that sleeps seven with a pool table and a private hot tub next to a patio surrounded by flowers and trees. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed next to a second bathroom. The living room has a sleeper sofa and will also accommodate a roll-away. A short walk leads you to beautiful Botanical Gardens and rugged ocean bluffs.

We'd like to invite you to stay at our beautifully furnished cottage located 3 miles north of FB, 1/2 mile from the ocean on 15 beautiful acres in the sunbelt. Relax in the peaceful redwoods while enjoying your own private deck with a firepit for nightime bonfires, and a hot tub for luxuriating in warm water while you view the stars in the clear sky.
There's a fully appointed kitchen with all the amenities, so stay as long as you like. The cottage is not suitable for children under ten.

The space
The cottage is wheelchair accessible, with wide doorways and roll in shower, not necessarily ADA compliant. It is not, however, safe for children under 10 years.
The cottage is very roomy, almost 900 sq ft.
There's a large outdoor living area with barbecue, hot tub, fire pit, and lots of space for relaxing.

Guest access
The property is expansive, with lots of room to walk in the redwood forest as well as our apple orchard, or just hang out in your own private yard.
Our two favorite beaches are just minutes away. Ward Ave Beach, is a less than a mile away, and allows you to access the coastal trail that is our bike and walking trail in Fort Bragg. Seaside Beach is north on Hwy 1, about a seven minute drive. That's a beautiful beach where you can collect sand dollars...beautiful!

PRIVATE ACCESS: This is a standalone house with its own back deck. Your hosts reside in a separate house on the same property. The 3-acre grounds are shared and available to guests to explore.

FAMILY FRIENDLY: Share if you are staying with kids and their ages, and we'll offer age-appropriate options, like kid dishes, highchair, pack ‘n play, age-specific toys and books, etc.

DISABILITY ACCESS: For those with reduced mobility, we can provide a ramp to the front door, toilet riser, and a transfer bench for the shower. There are grab bars by the toilet and in the shower, and a lower removeable showerhead. There is ample space to maneuver a wheelchair in all rooms.

PARKING: Driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles. One car can be parked directly in front of the cottage.

Have a dreamy stay at our beautiful hideaway one mile from Glass Beach, Pudding Creek Beach and downtown Fort Bragg! Cottage is set on a secluded plot with full privacy, gated entrance and parking. Relax with some complimentary wine on the porch and take in the sunset and starry nights from the scenic farmland atmosphere. Inside is a lovely skylighted living room, full kitchen, sleeper couch, private bedroom with queen Dreamcloud mattress, indie/art books.

The space
Guests will enjoy the charming farmland from the warm and friendly living room, and can even paint with watercolors and paper supplied by the host, or listen to records on our 6 in 1 Bluetooth Victrola player. We keep a kitchen with any cookware guests may need if they wish to cook, and restaurants are no more than a five minute drive if guests wish to eat out/take out. Cabinets are stocked with Hawkins New York Stoneware. We also supply guests with local Mendocino County coffee and bottle of wine. A powerful Rinnai heater heats up the space within minutes for cozy starry nights.

Our bathroom offers a full tub for relaxing after visits to the beach.

Queen bed with 100% cotton organic bedding. Room darkening drapes in bedroom. All bedding (comforter, pillow covering, blankets, sheets, mattress pad), bath linens, and furniture is sanitized thoroughly between guest. Each room has a HEPA filter and convection heater. The bathroom has a tub and bath salts are provided.

The carriage house is located on the same property as Whole Body Wellness Integrative Medical Center and will share the same parking lot. Guest have a reserved spot next to the carriage house. There are security cameras on the property and the parking lot is well lit. We are located within walking distance to town.

A rare and spiritual healing place with stunning oceanfront views from a 6-acre bluff paradise. Watch whales and bald eagles from the hot tub. The cottage is heated by propane and also has a wood burning stove. We offer the option of wine, flowers, rose petals on bed and balloons for wedding proposals, anniversaries, birthdays etc - ask for our price list. We are pet friendly and charge an additional $25 a day per pet up to 3 pets. There is a home 100 ft away that shares the 6 acres. No TV.

Driftwood Cottage

The location is phenomenal! It's a mere 14 minutes from fine seafood dining, antique shopping, and The Skunk, a historic passenger train that runs 40 miles along the coast and through redwood forests. A five-minute trip will take you to MacKerricher State Park where you can ride horses, watch for seals and whales, and explore tide pools.

The single-story home is calming with an open floor plan, blue accents, and bright abstract paintings. Large windows create great natural lighting and the ocean can be viewed from almost every room in the home! You'll take refuge in the living room which has two upholstered chairs and a love seat. Cozy up with friends and family to watch a movie on the living room TV or pop in a DVD from the collection.
