There were 2 sofa-beds in the entry, 2 private bedrooms (each +Q bed, flat-screen TV, ample external bath), enormous space +pool table, table/computer for guest use +free WiFi throughout, living area +large flat-screen TV/cable +numerous DVD movies, book-filled shelves, 2 sofas (one normal, the other with 4 individual recliner seats), dining table, FULLY-equipped kitchen (not just with dishes, glasses of all size – even for champagne, cooking utensils, but also spices, cooking oil, flour, Bisquick, seasonings, coffee, tea… plus fridge filled with stuff for our continental breakfast included in the price – English muffins, jam, margarine, yoghurt, fresh fruit, OJ, milk…). This separate building was once a recording studio. What this means is you are totally secluded. No windows in the bedroom- which means you can escape from the midnight sun in peace. Note, this is a separate building from my house, so you will totally be independence and get the best sleep you can have under the midnight sun. You will share the grounds with other guests and my son and I. We enjoy being in the outdoors, traveling and exploring. We also enjoy recharging and laying low between time. Feel free to enjoy the grounds, we are on 10 acres and have a river that runs through the property. Ask us about floating the river it is a favorite activity of ours. there is a fire pit near the bluff that you can use and usually there is firewood stacked on the pallet near the pit that you can use. Please make sure to extinguish the fire if you decide to enjoy it. Also be mindful that the access road to the property is also an active airstrip and planes do take off and land there from time to time

An easy 15-minute drive from Wasilla on Knik Goose Bay Rd. which is paved and maintained year-round. Next door to the Knik Museum and walking or boating distance to the Knik Bar. There are excellent restaurants on Knik Goose Bay Road and in Wasilla such as: Meta and Rose, Settlers Bay, Basil Ginger, and Grape Tap. Crema is my favorite Coffee and Pastry Shop and I hear Grizzly Grounds is also delicious. There is plenty of unique shopping in Wasilla at the Clock Tower, Wagon Wheel Market Place and Black Birch Books.

Please help us stay friendly with our neighbors. All shoreline of Knik Lake is privately owned. You are welcome to our entire lakefront but cannot walk along our neighbor's shorelines.

Excellent cabin to rest, recover, and base your Alaskan adventures out of! The cabin is small (16′ x 12′) with space for three guests (full and twin bed.) A small kitchenette allows for light food prep (no oven or stove but does have microwave and mini fridge). Coffee and tea is provided. Enjoy a hot shower at the end of your day, and sleep soundly with the help of blackout curtains.
