The space
This is an executive duplex, and the large bedroom is all yours downstairs and to the right. There is free Wi-Fi, and the free laundry is across the hall from the room and the bathroom is shared when my other room is occupied. There is a great desk work station with a good chair, a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker in the bedroom, but there is also a fully functional kitchen upstairs. There is also a nice TV with Direct TV in the room.

The large private bedroom downstairs on the right is all yours. The free laundry is across the hall, and it has extra towels, a vacuum, as well as an iron and ironing board. The bathroom is shared when the other room is occupied. You are welcome to share the kitchen and living room area upstairs with me, but I will be parking my truck in the garage. There is plenty of room for another car in the driveway. There is a large closet in the room for storage, and there is also a hallway closet downstairs.

During your stay
If I'm in town and not on a trip, I'd be happy to chat occasionally with guests. I grew up here in Alaska and have many stories to share if you get me started! I have seen Kodak Brown Bears, caught thousands of salmon, shot moose, and I still have plenty on my bucket list.

Other things to note
Often, when the other room is vacant, you will have the entire floor downstairs to yourself. When it is occupied you will be sharing the bathroom and laundry downstairs. I often do not have two guests.

The space
We are up cycling a home that was built a decade before Alaska became a state. We pour all of our energy, money and time into restoring this special, historic home and property. We are renovating from the inside out, so do not expect a lodge! It is definitely the ugliest house on the street from the driveway, however the inside has been completely remodeled. The old walls were torn down and everything has been replaced. Thank you for choosing to be a part of our dream of restoring something old and useless into an oasis for all to enjoy. Huge yard and large trees for Anchorage makes you feel out of town.

A cozy, comfortable spot to use as a base camp for your explorations of North Pole and Chena. With proximity to the town center and the Chena Lakes Recreation area, the Red Dog Room still feels secluded and private and has direct access to trails. The room has private entry, a small cooking area with a table and a private bathroom.

The space
Located only 15 miles to Fairbanks, 10 miles to Fort Wainwright and 12 miles to Eielson AFB, the Red Dog Room offers a central location for whatever brings you to North Pole. The studio has private access via an outdoor deck which is a nice spot to relax in the warmer months. Unfortunately, the studio is not handicap-accessible.

There is not a view of the mountains from the apartment. There is a view of the mountains from the buildings large shared rooftop deck that is on top of the carport.

Our lower unit is a beautiful apt with stunning view on Katchemak Bay right from windows or yard. Private gardens, lower deck. Located about a 1/2 mile from the Bishop Beach area, 2 miles to the Spit and all the ocean activities you can imagine.A full kitchen for those who want to cook their catch or restaurants nearby that are outstanding. We have a freezer that you can store your catch in, but check with me on freeze space. Well behaved dogs welcome. Poo bad provided.

This is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in a fourplex. It’s recently been remodeled and almost everything in it is new! It’s a secure building, with a code to get in the entryway and another code to enter the unit. Everything is separate except the entryway and laundry room. With two reserved parking spaces in front of the building for you.

The space
Kitchen~

The kitchen is fully equipped with what you need for your stay: fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, electric grill, blender, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc! Also provided are some nonperishables for you to enjoy.

Living Room~

Comfy couches to relax on and a TV with Roku to enjoy, what more do you need? Also provided are some games and toys/books for families of little ones.

Bedrooms~

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has a double bed, they both have dressers, a nightstand, extra bedding if needed, and hangers in the closet. There is also a queen air mattress in the closet if you need extra sleeping space.
*If needed, a pack n play can be provided for those traveling with small children.

Bathroom~

A couple sets of towels are provided, as well as shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a hair dryer.

Laundry Room~

The laundry room is shared with the tenants and other Airbnb in the building. We provide detergent and dryer sheets.

Building~

The building is made up of four units, the unit available is on the top floor. The current tenants are nice and shouldn’t bother you at all. If for any reason you have a problem, message/call me right away!
