Overall was a great experience. It’s at the top of the mountain, and does have all the dining options and shops at the bottom. Groceries near by as well. Check out it’s at 10am, has balconies to seat and relax sip coffee, hot cocoa, lovely weather too, oh we even spotted a bear so yes! There are bears roaming the property, for us that was a plus."

- "It was a great stay" - "Cabin was roomy and comfortable with full kitchen ( not much in immediate area). Recreation center was good with helpful people. Only downside was for older people trouble getting luggage up and down stairs as property elevated and no elevator etc" - "The only thing that really bothered me is we had 6 in our party and it says it sleeps 8, but only 2 of the beds had bedding. There were 2 more sets of sheets but no blankets and the fold out bed was not even sleepable for the kids it was so uncomfortable so 2 slept on the couch as it was. We had to go buy extra blankets for the other beds as they didnt come with them. I know we got a great rate and dishes wise it had everything we needed, but it could use minor updates. Also the toilet backed up into the bathtub the last night so we couldnt use the second bathroom. But otherwise it was good. They let us check in way early and leave an hour late, which helped a lot. I would just suggest blankets for all the beds in the future along with replacing the foldout bed. We did have the best spot, right next to all the ammenities though. "

It does not have a beach view but only a 2 min walk to the beach through the resort property via a parking lot and onto a wooden walk way. Great location and very convenient to food and other Kill Devil Hills activities. Staff was very friendly and responsive as was the owner. It has east access to a pool and a playground for little kids. The resort beach is wide and it's gradient is very gradual which is great for kids, social distancing, people watching, making sand castles, spikeball and just playing in the waves."

Please note on the second Thursdays of the month, pest control serviced is conducted. This is a service provided by the Homeowner's Association to enhance your stay. No action will be required by you as the guest, aside from allowing them to briefly enter the unit.
