Our Villa is one of only 8 that has a first floor rear patio exit (most desired)..You can park right outside your door. New Passenger Ferry to Ocracoke so you may never even need your car during your visit unless you want to drive out on one of the many beach accesses. Public Beach Access and shower is right out the door across the road (one block) Free Laundry and Ice on site. Two Gas Grills by the pool. 50" LED TV, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker. Actual pictures of the unit so you know what you are getting. All are similar but owners do upgrades on their own. Our unit is one of the nicest ones in the complex.
No check in is required because there is a key pad.. Plenty of parking right outside the condo. Linens are included in all rentals. Just bring your beach gear. (some chairs and umbrellas may be on the back porch but I can't guarantee it)
Bikes, kayaks, etc. are available for rent in town. Pool/Grills are open April 1st to October 31st.

If adventure is more your thing, why not head over to Oak Island and tour the lighthouse there, or take a magnificent ferry ride from Deep Point Marina over to Bald Head Island and climb the "Old Baldy" lighthouse for yourself. Enjoy breath-taking views of the entire island from the top! Or you can explore the island by foot, bicycle, or by golf cart, the uniquely standard methods of travel on the island.

If you prefer a more tranquil evening, take a stroll along the quaint shops of Historic Southport. Visit the Christmas House. We have stayed at Grande Villas several times and because of the grounds, location and beach services it is our favorite on Emerald Isle. The only thing I would point out is the "entrance process". Your key cards are kept behind the front door entrance counter (so go to the front before parking in the underground garage). We arrived at roughly 6pm and so all doors were locked. There was a reluctant security guard at that counter location, but he was less than super helpful. There is a note in the condo about this - that person is evidently employed by one of the larger real estate companies on the island. Still it was odd. - "The room was not ready when we arrived. I called the front office and after 15 minutes they informed me that the cleaning staff was done and we could go up. After carrying all of our stuff upstairs we saw the cleaning staff still finishing up the room so we waited. 30 minutes later we were finally about to enter the room. We only had 2 pillows on our bed and we asked the manager if more were available somewhere in the condo. She had Walmart deliver 2 brand new pillows to our door the next day. We also saw dolphins (large) swimming by a few different times. Very comfortable small condo in an older building at North end of CB. There are boulders to protect sand erosion but not a problem for us. It is a more quiet location away from the crowds. Great place to really enjoy the ocean and have a relaxing vacation."
