The owner was on sight our week as well and is a wonderful person to talk to as well as he pitches in to serve food and make sure everyone is doing well and is enjoying. The general manager does the same and the staff are all top notch. We will be going back for a stay!"

Diablo Peak is a cute cottage getaway located in beautiful Linville Land Harbor. It has 2 BR, 2 BA, and a living room including a queen sleep sofa, kitchen, dining area, and a small deck with a grill, smoker, and gas firepit. A long driveway will hold an RV with 50A electric hookups and plenty of parking. The front yard features a fire pit with Adirondack chairs (Kid-sized too!). It has a fenced-in backyard with a doggie door. It is located at 3600 feet nestled by tall trees and shade!

The space
Nestled at 3600' this cute cottage is situated amongst tall trees and cedars, and surrounded by Rhododendrons. The air is cool and clean and there always seems to be a mountain breeze. It is located in the planned community of Linville Land Harbor (LLH). Our renters will be privy to the many seasonal amenities available at LLH including a heated Olympic-sized pool, sand beach, fishing, kayaking, tennis, golf, and pickleball. The cabin is a bit dated, so don't expect pure luxury! What you can expect is a clean, smoke-free, fully functional, warm, and cozy hideaway to relax and enjoy the High Country. PLUS, it's at an affordable price!!

We are very close to Grandfather Mountain, which is open year-round. If you enjoy good wine, within 10 miles you'll find Grandfather Winery, Linville Falls Winery, and Banner Elk Winery. All three create world-class wines for your enjoyment! Great food and live music can be found nearby! Our guest book has several suggestions for you! Enjoy the mountain views by the fire pit at this tiny home log cabin on 2 acres. Easy access and secluded. One mile from downtown- fairgrounds, Cataloochee ski resort, tube world, fishing, golf, hiking, shopping and restaurants. Elk visits often.

The space
Secluded, but close to all that is the Maggie Valley experience. This newer log cabin has a full kitchen, queen bed in the bedroom, pull out queen sleeper sofa, and a full bed in the loft (4' ceiling). Relax at the spacious firepit area and enjoy the mountain views from the swing. Plenty of room to maneuver a small trailer in the parking area and a berm to offload from a truck bed.

Guest access
Let the babbling brook lull you to sleep in The Bear's Den cabin. If there's a chance of rain, put your scooters in the Hog Pen garage to protect them. Breakout the grill and cook dinner by the firepit or near the cabin.

We welcome all guests! Walking distance to a NC Heritage Trout water for some fly-fishing and 12 minutes to Cataloochee Ski Resort. Our cabin is particularly motorcycle friendly but everyone will enjoy staying in the Bear's Den whether you're here for one of the many activities in Maggie Valley, or just want to get away!

Whether you’re traveling to hunt, fish, or simply escape from daily life, make ‘The Boathouse’ your next home away from home. The Boathouse is recently renovated and well equipped. It offers on-site access to the Pungo River and Intracoastal Waterway. Sip your morning coffee on the deck or patio, then utilize the private boat ramp and head out on the water. Following your outdoor adventure, gather around the fire pit for s’mores and relish a beautiful sunset.

The space
The Boathouse features a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment above the garage space. The apartment features a cozy living area with a queen sleeper sofa and flat-screen TV, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, a full bathroom, and master bedroom with walk-in closet. The bedroom also contains a flat screen smart TV. The Boathouse is themed to match its natural surroundings, with fishing, hunting, and sailing decorations throughout. The balcony has beautiful water views along with table/chairs and a large grill.

The entrance to the Boathouse is through the double doors in the center bay of the garage, which has a table/chairs and couch that is available for guests to use. Just up the stairs on the way to the apartment is the laundry area, which the guests are welcome to use.

There is a hammock available near the waterfront, and a firepit area with Adirondack chairs near the waterfront. The private dock and boat ramp are also available for guests to use during their stay.

The views from the dock of the sunset over the water can't be beat.

Guests who need additional space can use the camper in the right bay of the garage for an additional fee of $20/night. The camper is heated/cooled, and has a queen bed, flat screen smart tv, dining table, and closet/storage areas. Please reach out to the owner in advance if you need to use the additional space in the camper.

Guests have access to the Boathouse apartment, balcony, patio, center bay of the garage, parking areas, and all of the waterfront amenities (dock, boat ramp, hammock, fire pit area, etc).

Guests who need additional space can use the camper in the right bay of the garage for an additional fee of $20/night.

The local area is great for boating, fishing, hunting, kayaking, bird watching, or reading your favorite book. The property is located on a protected creek just off the Pungo River & ICW. By boat, it's approximately 7 miles to Belhaven, NC.

Bring food with you. Hyde County is one of the most remote counties in North Carolina and you will be staying approximately 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store.

The Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge is about 25 minutes away, and the Swan Quarter/Ocracoke ferry terminal is about 20 mins away.

This retreat sleeps 6 total, with the addition of two more bedrooms on the upper level, each with a queen bed and a full bathroom to share, with a tub/shower combination. This upper level features a family room with rustic charm, comfy furnishings, a gas-burning fireplace and scenic views from every angle. You’re also close to the Virginia Creeper – North Carolina and Virginia's premier mountain biking trail, which stretches 34 miles from Abingdon, down thru the lovely town of Damascus, along the Whitetop Laurel River and up to its highest point at Whitetop Station, near the NC state line. The Virginia Creeper Trail is open year round to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Don’t miss this ride – a blast for the whole family, with several bike rental shops to serve you.

Nantahala national forest is a short drive away where the whole family can enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, rafting and zip lining. The historical town of Andrews is only minutes away. You will more than likely be greeted by neighboring dogs, they are very friendly.

The space
Sit by the fire in this cozy living room and watch a movie or take in the amazing mountain and pasture views. Family dinners in the dining room surrounded with windows makes you feel like your eating in the woods at the top of the mountain. 2 cozy bedrooms have queen beds and one has an en suite bathroom with a tub and shower. There is an additional full bathroom that is accessible from the living room. Upstairs is a large loft with a TV and work space as well as 2 twin beds.

Please make yourself at home and enjoy the entire log cabin and it’s surrounding property. Please be aware of the steep property edges and be sure to supervise children. The road to the cabin is steep but it is paved and 4 wheel drive is not needed. There is ample space for parking.
