Tentrr Signature Site - Belle Vista Farm - Coleman Outfitted Site
RV Rental
Hyde Park, Vermont, USA

Summary:
Frequent visitors include Great Blue Herons, ducks & turtles. You will be blown away by the panoramic mountain view just a 5 minute walk up a lovely mowed path. We've set up a nice little hang out with a table and 2 chaise lounges for you to relax and take in the view. Or maybe you'd like to read a book in the hammock?

The location is fantastic and well positioned for exploration and adventure in every direction. Only 10 miles to the resort town of Stowe; 30 miles to Smugglers Notch resort. And right up the road about 5 miles, you can have a canoe dropped off for you as you paddle the beautiful Green River reservoir, and then picked up for you when you are done. Right down the hill you will find the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, and Elmore State Park is about 12 minutes away. Hike Elmore Mountain, or enjoy the beach on Lake Elmore. The localvore food scene is amazing, as are the artisanal brews and spirits. So much to do & see in the area. We're happy to give you ideas!

The Space:
Great location approximately 15 minutes to Stowe. Picturesque campsite beside a spring fed, crystal clean pond. A 110 acre playground to romp & play!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire
-Water

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Other Things to Note:
Explore mowed walking trails; Check out our Christmas Tree farm; Pick some apples in the orchard; or wild flowers in the meadows. Don't be surprised if you encounter deer, rabbit or a flock of wild turkeys. The sunsets are not to be missed! Help prevent the spread of invasive pests. Do not bring non local firewood to the site. On-site firewood offered for a reasonable fee. See extras.

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. The Tentrr Loo is located in a timber frame outhouse next to the canvas tent.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that heats the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

What you should bring:
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire

Other Things to Note:
Please be very careful with fires. Remember small is better and always put ashes in the metal can provided. One live ember can start a grass or forest fire.
Clean up after your pooch and don't allow it to dig.
We are rife with wildlife. We see deer nightly, hear coyotes in the distance, have lots of wild turkeys, some raccoons and an occasional black bear. To keep the critters at bay, lock all food up and do not throw leftovers into the field! For more details please read the Perch Manual.

Guest Reviews:

- "A really nice, quiet, and very private site. Lots of owls, chipmunks, and other kinds of wildlife. Spent lots of time exploring and IDing plants. It was perfect for us. One big warning though...you need 4-wheel drive to get to the site. The owner has made some logging roads through out the property (great for hiking), but they are really rough and muddy (not good for cars). Do NOT even attempt it with a regular street car. We have a 4-wheel drive Subaru Crosstrax and it barely made it up to the campsite because of the deep mud. Otherwise, we had a great time. We will definitely return at some point."

Guest Reviews:

- "Wonderful stay & very relaxing. Dave is a great host. My partner and I were able to leave the city behind & enjoy this wonderful woods & lovely campsite. I will return! Close to Rochester too, which has great cafes and restaurants. The hike up is somewhat steep. Had I known, I would have paid for the dropoff service, but it was not a problem making a few trips--exercise makes smores all the better! (Wanted to add the last tip for others who may be debating the drop-off service; if in doubt, I'd suggest getting it. I will next time)"

CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows

Other Things to Note:
Please bring your own bedding! Due to continued health & safety guidelines, we cannot provide bedding or linens. Pack in-Pack out, as with all camping, please, leave no trace.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.
