We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The Wi-Fi was weak /slow but we didn't care because the AT&T cell service was just fine, and we accessed the internet that way or used a hotspot. We enjoyed some really good food at the Gap, a local restaurant, and the foliage color was just spectacular.. If you're not concerned about having everything look "modern", then I would say this is a perfect place for a getaway! We might even try it sometime for a family vacation, as there are many small cottages in one place the lakeshore."

Charming and comfortable timber frame cabin nestled in the woods. You will feel miles from anywhere even though you are minutes from the junction of I-89 & I-91. If you have mobility issues, this cabin is not for you. There’s a 150 yard walk down a trail from the parking. The ladder to the loft is quite steep. There is seasonal water running to the cabin May through October. Linens are NOT provided. There is approximately 120 yard walk down a hill from the parking area. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp if arriving after dark. The cabin will be lit but the walk can be dark.

Our cabin is cozy and rustic. A super cozy full in the loft and the sleeper sofa pulls out to sleep an additional two if needed (a total of four). Linens and blankets are NOT provided. There are electric lights and incinolet toilet. There is seasonal water May-Oct. A wood stove keeps the place warm while you are off skiing or exploring, and outdoor fireplace. Please bring your own wood or use fallen limbs from the surrounding woods. Small grill.

Unique rustic one bedroom cabin with deck extended over the pond, equipped with a cooking area, outhouse, outdoor shower. The cabin is off grid there is an updated solar powered generator for lights and cell phone charging! There is water for the shower and sink but not drinkable. Private location but also 5-10 minutes to bars, restaurants and stores! It’s not a safe spot for non swimmers please don’t hesitate with any questions before booking! works well with larger camping groups!

Other things to note
Please note that we have updated the solar system for the 2025 camping season with a Blueitti solar generator as well as updated the kitchen area to include a sink with water for dishes and an outdoor shower but the water is not drinkable you will need to bring drinking water!

Thoughtfully renovated getaway cabin in the Northeast Kingdom with Burke Mt. views. This year round cabin is 1/4 mile from a Kingdom Trails access and is moments from snowmobiling, Nordic, and Downhill skiing in the winter. The interior is done in rustic wood details and the cabin offers plenty of room for guests to comfortably enjoy the VT lifestyle in comfort.

The space
Tastefully done accommodations with a great kitchen complete with breakfast bar and plenty of space to cook just like at home.

Large entry area for all of the gear that comes with outdoor adventure and built in bike racks for cleaning bikes and keeping them upright. Perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast. No details missed.

It is worth noting that the bed setup in this property is unique. One room has three twin beds in it. The next level up is separated by only stairs and goes up to a queen bed. We have had many guests comment on the layout and its uniqueness. However, if you are a mixed group of people and privacy is critical, this may not be the place for you. There is no line of sight from one room to the next, but there are no doors separating them either.

Other things to note
The camp is located on two wooded acres but is surrounded by some big woods. Walking around on property is a fun thing to do. Some big old maple trees adorn the land and it is relaxing to be among them. Not far away in the 16,000 acre Victory State Forrest there is plenty of exploring, trails, and fishing.

We do also have a standby generator which will kick on automatically if power is lost. It will power the whole place without any problems. A nice piece of mind when you are in a rural setting and looking to relax.

Your private woodlands retreat awaits. Nestled atop a beautiful 10 acre meadow with 25 acres of woods for you to enjoy; this rustic, pet friendly cabin is a perfect romantic hideaway. Two trout ponds are steps from your door for fishing and swimming. Just minutes from Mt. Ascutney's hiking/biking trails and in the middle of fantastic cycling country. Near local race including the VT100, Vt overland, VT50.

Sunset Cabin is a marvelous spot for enjoying fall foliage and exploring VT!

The space
This is a magical place. The cabin is comfortable, rustic, and private, with brand new furniture, bedding, and linen. But what's special about it is its extremely romantic setting overlooking meadows, ponds, gardens, mountains, and woods.

Unit is free standing and tucked away at the edge of our woods and private but you may see other people using the trails (which we keep available for our neighbors who rode their horses through).

Also the hosts home is on the property as well as another rental unit (called Meadow View).
