- "It was good for a night. " - "We stayed at the Moultonborough Inn for a few days in early December, when we were in the area photographing a wedding. This motel was an affordable option for us, and only 15 minutes from where the wedding was taking place. I can't say enough about our stay. The lobby was warm and welcoming. It was decorated nicely for the holiday, and soft Christmas music was playing. The owner Donna was sitting behind the desk, and she too was warm and welcoming. We chatted a bit about the property, and after a quick check-in, she mentioned that there would be tea/coffee, oatmeal cups and homemade pumpkin bread available in the morning. Perfect! Our room was on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator), and was immaculately clean, modern looking and comfortable. Donna really put a lot of thought into the room not only with decor, but with providing simple instructions (for ceiling fan operation, TV operation, etc). There was a microwave, refrigerator, table for two, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, etc. Anything you could need or want, was there! The hot water was plentiful. Noise in the inn was minimal. We would HIGHLY recommend this motel, and look forward to visiting again someday soon!"

Our yurt is candle and lantern friendly. We supply plenty of both. There is no electricity. This is the best yurt for relaxing in the woods with no one around and enjoying the coziness. We have plenty of trails right from the yurt also. We have gas flat top grill outside and a 2 burner propane cooktop inside. You may also enjoy our beautiful relaxing firepit outback. plenty of trails to walk. There is a $20.00 firewood fee. We also supply paper plates, paper towels, plastic ware, real knives, 1 gallon of drinking water inside plus 5 gallon clean water jug .... You pretty much only need to bring your food and something to keep it in.

There are games, coloring, books, Lincoln logs etc.. for the kiddos and adults as well. All that good ole fashioned fun. We include pots, pans, utensils, condiments, salt, pepper, etc... you really just need to bring your food and a cooler to keep it in.

We would GREATLY appreciate it if EVERYONE would walk those few steps to use the outhouse instead of urinating out the door or anywhere else besides the outhouse. For over 99.9% of our guests - this is obvious and not an issue. Unfortunately, for the 0.1% of guests who haven't quite understood this, it has caused a problem with our immediate neighbors, and they let us know EVERY TIME someone violates this rule.

That’s where you come in.

We ask—firmly and respectfully—that guests do not set foot on any neighboring property for any reason.

This includes:

** The yard and beach across the street (no sitting, walking, or passing through)

** Launching kayaks, paddleboards, or other watercraft from the private beach across the street. That is their yard - please don't even ask them if it's ok.

** Swimming or entering the water from any neighboring beach

** Using any garbage or recycling bins that are not on this property

** Taking photos or wandering onto lawns, driveways, or shared paths

Some neighboring properties have security cameras and will contact us immediately if guests trespass, even briefly. Their cameras are motion-sensored.

Come stay with us and experience the tinyhouse on wheels way of living. Take in all the lakefront has to offer with a dock, peddle boat, 2 sit in style kayaks and your own private outdoor space to have a campfire, BBQ or lounge in the hammock.

The tinyhouse is situated at the top of a small hill that slopes down to the lake. You’ll feel like you’re up in the trees when looking out of the bedroom windows at the views of the water.

Directly outside the tinyhouse you’ll find a propane grill (propane provided), table and chairs. A fire pit is just steps away to cozy up around a campfire. (Free firewood available on site)

Follow the short path to the lake stairs which will bring you down the hillside to the tinyhouse dock where you can swim, fish and spot turtles through the clear water. You may even see the resident eagles. Round river floats and beach towels are provided for swimming. You’ll also have access to a commercial grade peddle boat, 2 sit in style single seat kayaks and life jackets for an epic adventure around the lake. (The walking path to the lake is shared with one neighboring property so you may see occasional passing by of people).

*Please take note that the water levels fluctuate throughout the seasons and the water can get quite shallow near the dock and shoreline. Sometimes there's a beach and sometimes there isn't. There's also a sandbar in the middle of the lake as pictured on the aerial photo.*

Inside the tinyhouse you’ll find one level of living with full functionality. There is one queen bedroom overlooking the lake through the pines. The living room is a comfortable space with a couch that flips down into a bed for extra sleeping space plus 3” memory foam topper for extra comfort. Be sure to flip the legs down from the back of the couch when in the sleeping position. The living room also has an electric fireplace, Roku smart tv and ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with an apartment size fridge, a 4 in one microwave oven that also bakes, broils and air fries, an electric kettle, a Keurig K-Mini single coffee maker and a 2 pot induction cooktop that can be stored away for more counter space. Enjoy a lovely maple live edge bar top with 4 barstools for dining.

The bathroom is a generously sized space you wouldn’t expect from a tinyhouse. There is a standard size tub and shower with on demand hot water, a flush toilet, and vessel sink. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided.

This home has WiFi and a mini split system for temperature controlled comfort throughout the interior space.

There are security cameras on site for the outside areas only. More specifically on our garage which oversees the parking area. Parking is located on the rock driveway directly in front of the cabin. There is parking for 2 vehicles max. There’s no parking on the side of the road due to lack of space on the private lake community roads.

No more than 4 registered guests allowed on the property. No unregistered guests allowed at any time.

Exceeding the parking or guest limit will result in a $250 fee and you will be asked to leave without refund.

No late check out without obtaining approval directly with host (Alyssa). If you stay past checkout without approval there will be a fee of $250 to compensate for lost cleaning time.

Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum when enjoying the outdoor amenities after hours. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. We are local responsive hosts and want to make sure you as well as our neighbors have quiet enjoyment while at the lake.

The space
We are located in Alexandria, NH, a 10 minute ride outside of Bristol, tucked away in the hills sits our little off-grid cabin. Perfect for disconnecting from our phones and reconnecting with eachother!

Cell reception is usually lost about 10 minutes before you arrive!

Plenty of parking, easily fits two vehicles, even a boat trailer if needed.

Robie Road, Alexandria, NH is a class-6 road, Its currently bumpy on the way up. It will be fixed in the future.

We have a small kitchen with a 2 burner propane cook top. Its well stocked with kitchen ware including a coffee percolator, cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, & all the utensils we could think of! Have a look around the drawers and cupboards to check out what we have stocked.

Under the bed on the right the board games are all tucked away. 2 player + boardgames. Perfect for a rainy day!

The space
Nestled in the peaceful woods of Temple, you'll find our cabin. There is a small parking area outside the cabin for your convenience. You will find some seating outside the front door, and once you enter, you'll be met with a sleek tranquil interior. There is a small "mudroom", and then the space opens into the bedroom/dining room. Although this is a "tiny" cabin, it is quite spacious inside for dining, curling up in bed, and relaxing. There is a kitchenette located towards the back of the home, as well as a full bath.

If its the firepit you're looking for, there is one just past the trees behind the unit in the small field, as well as some lawn chairs, a grill, picnic tables, and a hammock. Feel free to use any and all of these!

Come unwind in our custom timber frame cabin by the Brook. Sleeps 2-4 depending on configuration. Twin bed in loft and queen bed downstairs. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and running cold water outside. Bathrooms and showers are 30 second walk to our main bathhouse, that happens to be immaculate! Motor boats are allowed on the lake with the boat launch 0.5 miles away. Located in a great community, very quiet and private compared to larger lakes.

Small cabin with direct waterfront. The living area has a small kitchen (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker - no kitchen sink but there is a bathroom sink), as well as couches and a dining area. Bedroom sleeps two with private deck facing the water. Interior bathroom has a toilet and sink, and an outdoor shower can be found following a path to the back of the camp (with hot water). Recently converted into a cozy space for two. It sits alongside one of the many trails in the Harrisville area, and is accessible to all of the amenities in the Monadnock Region. Our small farm is next door which means you might hear the sounds of country life including our donkey who brays at times!

The space
This 600 sq ft cottage is perfect for 1-2 people looking to escape the noise and be close to nature. Consider us for your next anniversary, writing/art retreat, or mini-sabbatical. It is a true getaway, and sits on two acres of lawn and forest and is directly adjacent to hundreds of acres of peaceful woods. Your hosts live in the farmhouse next door and are available if needed, or are happy to respect your privacy.
The cottage has a large front porch, lovely on summer evenings and a cozy living room and kitchen that have been entirely refurbished. The radiant heat will keep you warm in the winter. Upstairs bedroom has a loft-like feel to it, with a queen-sized bed. There are 1.5 bathrooms and a stacked washer/dryer. Although not a tiny house, the appliances are all apartment-sized, and the newly tiled shower stall is small, truly for one person.

Private parking is available for 1 or 2 cars, and you are within steps to the porch entrance. Guests have direct, on-foot access to miles of trails or a walk down our beautiful road. Your hosts are happy to share some of our favorite walking or hiking routes w/you as well. The cottage is a 25 minute drive to Keene and a 15 minute drive to Peterborough - both towns offer plenty of shopping (antique stores, artisan shops, etc) and great restaurants. High-speed internet is included.

Other things to note
Nearby Monadnock State Park, features 36 miles of hiking trails as well as its centerpiece; hiking to the summit of Mt Monadnock is a rite of passage in this part of New England. Easy climbs are close by as well. If you prefer to stay closer to sea level, the Monadnock Region is rich with beautiful lakes to enjoy, In the wintertime, the trails are just as wonderful, if you like to snowshoe or cross-country ski. (Two pairs of snowshoes are available - just ask! ) There is an abundance of wildlife in the surrounding area and hope you will be lucky enough to see them.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Just off Day road, a short walk to Green Acres store with direct ATV and snowmobile access. Located on a private road with 6 acres to enjoy to yourself and a beautiful view. 2 bedrooms downstairs (1 queen room and 1 full over queen adult log bunk beds room) and an open loft with a king bed and a twin with twin trundle. Deer, wild turkeys, Moose, we have seen all of them saunter through our raspberry bushes!

Winter guests - It is ABSOLUTELY necessary that you have all wheel or 4-wheel drive to access our private road. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the road. The road is plowed twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. If it snows all day there will be snow on the road at check in time. The cabin is easily accessible by snowmobile and is approximately a 10 minute trip from Young's Store if you check in during the day and would like to travel there by snowmobile. If this is your plan please let us know so we can give very detailed directions to make the turn easy for you to find!

Other things to note
We live in Vermont and are not able to assist you if your car goes off of the private road. For those circumstances we are very close to town and there are towing services available as guests at other cabin rentals also occasionally go off the road. We recommend only those prepared for North East winter conditions with vehicles that frequently travel steep dirt roads book our cabin in the winter. During the spring/summer/fall our cabin is appropriate for all drivers and visitors!

Our town is a quiet town and has strict vacation rental regulations, so we must ask all guests to follow the community regulations and be a good neighbor.

There is a second cabin built on the neighboring lot and a picture is included of it thru the woods. You may see guests enter in and out of that cabin. This is a private setting in the White Mountain National Forrest with a few other cabins in the area and a few hundred feet off Route 16, some like the proximity to the main road for ease of getting around and the sounds of the river, however with this proximity you will also hear the sounds of the road at the cabin.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, hotplate, microwave, small fridge, griddle, convection toaster oven and all cooking accessories. Also is an outdoor charcoal grill and fire pit with grate.

The surrounding area and proximity to trails can allow hiking out your front door. We are so close to the Ellis River you can hear it. Snow Shoes & toboggan provided to take advantage of the surrounding trails and small sledding hill on property. Enjoy Jackson and Glen Falls nearby. Also Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, Jackson XC Skiing Center. I can get discounted tickets to Nesslenook Sleigh Rides, Black MT and Cranmore. Tubing available at Glenn

Because of listing limitations for INSTANT BOOKING on AIRBNB I may have to modify certain rates or dates, for example adding a $15 for a pet fee per night, or weekends/holiday to request a min night stay or require no check outs on a Holiday (Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and others due to the inability to schedule cleaners.. For Example most weekends I prefer 2 night minimum, and certain weekends like Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK for 3 nights.

Our property doesn’t have charging capabilities for electric vehicles however you may be able to use the outdoor outlet. Please make sure to get our approval prior so we can monitor in case of any issues and the fee will be $15/night.


Since we use independent cleaner and maintenance companies that make their own schedule, we cannot guarantee an early check in or late check out. If you wish to request an early or late check in/out, please reach out the day of your arrival or departure. We may have to charge a $25 fee to coordinate with the cleaner and maintenance companies to adjust their schedule. We often have same day check in and out, so if you would like to secure an early check in or late check out in advance, it will require us to block and adjust the rate for an additional night.

Since we are in a rustic location in the woods you may on rare occasions have a situation where mice or other pests may try to enter the cabin or find the wooded area to have other animals, squirrels, chipmunks, and insects being in the national forest. We treat the cabin for pests, but any property in the woods will find it impossible to avoid 100% of the time and we ask you not to leave open food out as it will attract out side visitors.
