The cabins are absolutely pristine, beautiful, and filled with every comfort you could possibly imagine. The craftsmanship and the decoration of the cabin were lovely. There is even a "commons" area with free guest laundry, games to borrow, vending machines, etc. The "quiet side" of the island is so nice and the setting of these cabins is so pleasant....Bass Harbor Head Light, Ship Harbor Trailhead, Wonderland Trail, and all kinds of spots to sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets were all close by. Continental breakfast was included. The proprietor was a friendly source of information about things to do in the area and even got on his computer to show us details of how to find a hidden gem and drew a map for us on how to get to another recommended hike. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely stay here again. It was our favorite stay of the whole trip."

The camp is a cozy little rustic cabin on Little Madawaska lake in Aroostook County in Northern Maine. It is a one bedroom, one bath with hot and cold NON-potable water. There is a loft with two twin beds. There is also a rollaway bed and a sofa. There is a fire pit for a small campfire and one night of wood is provided. - "The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden chair and reach for buttons on the top which you can't actually see unless you are 6'4"+. Terrible setup."

- "The place was a dump! They lost our reservation and the people to check us in were gone. The first floor of the “lodge” was a single building, managed by the local rafting company (there weren’t any rafters scheduled) with bunk beds on the first floor (not at all like the picture) and a shared bathroom. I heard from the “maid” (she had a housecoat on) that the second floor was better but we were put off by all the bees and bugs everywhere on the first floor. I can only imagine what the beds were like! I would encourage anyone considering this property to stay away!"

- "I have stayed here several times. It’s a great way to camp without all the fuss. You feel like you’re enjoying nature without having to pack a bunch of essentials. We stayed in a king bedroom with shower and bathroom. Everything you need is there and it’s close to grocery stores. The pond is wonderful. The cabin has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove. Outside the property has an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Cabin sits near the shore and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. - "This was such a Maine Camp getaway. Incredibly quiet, creek out back, SCREENED PORCH, comfy beds. The wifi was good. We did use the air conditioning a few times but it was never hot. Being familiar with the area, we only ventured to Bar Harbor 1 day and made sure to be in the queue to leave the island by 4pm. We did not use the little Seaside cabin but looked at it and it was absolutely adorable. Being in the woods as it is, we would recommend bringing some additional lights or battery lanterns to brighten the house's dark corners after dark. The washer and dryer work great and the shower has good pressure. We visited Reny's, Bean outlet and Blueberry Hill in Ellsworth/Bangor, went to Timber Tina's lumberjack show, Marlintini's in Blue Hill for turkey dinner on Tuesdays and Blunts Pond. Celebrating our 18th year offering this special property for your Downeast Maine vacation! Seaside cabin on the Schoodic Peninsula located within 60 feet of the ocean. Completely updated throughout. Hear the waves lap along the granite shore, feel the ocean breeze, see the Sally Islands off in the distance, as well as the bold open ocean. At night you can see the flashing light of Petit Manan Lighthouse, Maine's second tallest light, built before the Civil War on a rock ledge two miles out to to sea.

The ocean view faces east across the water so the sunrises and moon rises are spectacular. See shore birds, marine life, and hear the loons call. Lobster boats work the area so you can watch them work from the front deck or along the shore.

The property is nicely wooded and you will have a private setting. Neighboring homes are shielded from view by a beautiful arbor of spruce, balsam, pine, etc. The shoreline is a combination of granite boulders and ledge rock. Corea Harbor also has a lobster roll cafe and grille located right on an authentic lobster wharf on the harbor, with great harbor views.

Down the road are the pretty communities of Prospect Harbor and Winter Harbor with many services, restaurants, and shopping. To get to the beach you just follow a short path that is clearly marked to the beach. Guests staying at the last cabin are aware that they will see other guests walking the path to get to the beach. The location of the cabin is close to the end of the North Lubec peninsula and feels very remote. Reserve the perfect dates for next summer, now, because it fills up quickly with repeat guests. The Americana has 200mbps high speed internet and a smart tv with basic cable package. Bring your paddle board or use our kayaks and explore the shoreline. To use our kayaks you must sign the waiver form in the welcome book. It is a short walk slightly downhill to the beach then back uphill when you are done so it is not suitable to bring your heavy kayaks. From the picnic table, at the beach, you will enjoy views of Moose Island, and beautiful Cobscook Bay. There are some nice hiking trails on North Lubec Road for you to explore. The Quoddy head lighthouse state park is only a 9.7-mile drive from the cabin. You can go on a whale watching tour (tours run from June to mid-September) from Lubec. On the tour you will see seals, eagles, and whales if you are lucky. Even if you don't see a whale the tour of the coast lines of neighboring islands is breathtaking. This cabin is a fully functional home with a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, 1 full bath tub shower combo, and 2 bedrooms,one queen bed, 2 twin beds with a trundle, as well as basic cable TV and WIFI. It has a small open concept kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as a screened porch for enjoying the breeze in the evening . Outdoor chairs, small propane grill, and a stone fire pit, are provided. This is not a beach for swimming. The current is too strong and the water is always too cold. No smoking and please return all TV equipment to its original settings if you make any changes.

Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and brew pub tours will keep you busy during the winter months, when you’ll come home to an easy-to-use wood stove and full kitchen.

The cabin is small and cozy, ideal for one or two couples (although we’ve had plenty of guests sleep on the futon.)

The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a bunk bed. Two guests may sleep on the futon.

The vacation home has access to a restaurant. The vacation home consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a bath and a hair dryer. A TV with satellite channels and DVD player, as well as an iPod docking station are offered. There's also a seating area and a fireplace. Guests at Traditional Maine Cabin will be able to enjoy activities in and around Greenville, like skiing. A children's playground is also available for guests at the vacation home. Bangor International Airport is 72 miles from the property.

The cabin is heated. It has hot and cold running water. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and a shower. The kitchen includes a stove with oven, a microwave fume hood, a full size refrigerator, coffee maker that make a pot,or you use k-cup. Table that pulls out to accommodate more setting and 6 chairs and a stacked washer/dryer. The sleeping arrangements accommodate 6 people with a queen size bed in the bedroom, a sleep sofa that pulls out into a queen size bed and there are 2 twin beds in the sleeping loft. Also for your enjoyment we have added Satellite TV. The cabin has a screened in porch with a small table and 2 chairs. There is a BBQ grill outside and a picnic table . We also have a small patio ,fire pit and chairs outside for evening enjoyment.
The cabin includes cooking supplies (pots, pans and utensils) as well as plates, bowls, cups, spoons, forks and knives. Also supplied are bath towels, hand towels and face clothes as well as paper towels and toilet paper. We also supply bedding, sheets, blankets (one per bed), pillow cases and pillows. You only have to bring food and a vacation attitudes. Check in time is on Saturday at 2pm and check out is at 10am the following Saturday. Quiet time starts at 9pm. The cabin is non smoking. There will be ‘butt‘ cans for smokers to use outside. Smoking inside will result in a cleaning fee. We ask that you keep your pets at home for several reasons, the ‘land minds’ they leave behind and allergies other guest may have.

If you are looking for a cute, little, log cabin in the woods, close to a quiet beach, the Lighthouse log cabin is right for you. The cabin is very small, but it has everything that you will need for a relaxing getaway! We have a very reasonable and flexible cancellation policy and do make exceptions when things happen that are unexpected such as family illness or death, accidents, and weather related issues. We offer a 10% active and retired military, law enforcement,and first responders, just message us before you make your reservation and we will add the discount. We have a low $75 cleaning fee, no pet fee, a 10% weekly discount, and a 2 night minimum stay( off peak season)! All dogs are welcome,but we do ask that you keep them on a lead everywhere on the property except for the beach to keep them safe and out of respect for other guests. Also please do not leave your dog alone on the porch or in the cabin to bark and disturb other guests and our neighbors. We work very hard to provide the best value for your money! We have an extremely fast response and resolution time if you have an issue. We care about your family and our team is here to serve you and make sure you have the very best stay possible. This is a very small cabin, so it is suitable for 2 adults and up to 2 young children and small dogs. Very large or very energetic dogs would not have enough room to run around. Because we are pet friendly and the beach is shared with the other cabins you may occasionally see or hear other guests and their pets. There is a stone fire pit, small propane grill,picnic table, and chairs. The Lighthouse has 200Mbps high speed internet and Wi-Fi. The cabin gets the cool breeze off of the bay so there is no air conditioning just baseboard heaters for the cold mornings and nights. The cabin is near the end of the North Lubec peninsula, so the location feels very remote, but is only 6 miles from the town of Lubec. Lubec is paradise for nature lovers, but the restaurants are limited and close early and there is no night life because it is just a small, historic fishing village. The Lighthouse cabin is located about a quarter of a mile off of North Lubec Road down a long gravel road (Lighthouse Lane). The Lighthouse cabin is the 2nd, of 3 cabins, with a little stone bridge out front. The cabin is clean and comfortable and is surrounded by tall trees and birds. Bring your paddle board or use our kayaks and explore the bay. To use our kayaks you must sign the waiver form in the welcome book. There is a kayak rack at the beach, but the beach is slightly downhill from the cabin and so is not ideal if you bring heavy kayaks. The cabin shares access to a quiet beach with two other log cabins. The cabins have trees separating them for privacy. Just follow a short path that start right off from the back porch to get to the beach and the kayak rack. Guests staying at the last cabin are aware that guests from the other cabins will be walking the path to get to the beach. This cabin gets its name from the Quoddy Head lighthouse that is a 9.7 mile drive away. Quoddy head's coast guard hiking trails are not to be missed, and other short hiking trails and picnic areas are 10 minutes away on North Lubec Road. We highly recommend the Down East Charters whale watching tours (they run from mid-June too mid-September) from Lubec, the guide is knowledgeable and funny and touring the coastlines of neighboring islands is breathtaking. The Lighthouse log cabin is all on one level and has 2 bedrooms and a small open concept kitchen with a dishwasher, a table, and a small living room space. The screened porch is great for enjoying the cool, salty, breeze and the sound of birds and the tide coming in. There is a washer and dryer and a full bath with a tub shower combo. Outdoor chairs, picnic table, small propane grill, and a stone fire pit, are provided. This is not a beach for swimming. The current is too strong and the water is always too cold. No smoking and please return all TV equipment to its original settings if you make any changes.

The space
Our property is nestled in the North Woods of Maine. The cabin is surrounded by lush, thick woods and guests should expect to see bugs, snakes and other wildlife while staying at our cabin.

If you stay with us during the summer months, the cabin will be warm. We provide two small battery operated fans to keep you comfortable and also bug spray and tiki torches to help keep the bugs at bay. There is a raised deck, fire pit and front porch for you to relax on and take in the sights and sounds of nature. There are folding chairs and two gliding rockers for you to use during your stay. There is a two burner gas stove and some pots, pans, tea kettle and other things to use while you are there. Flashlights, candles and other items provided as well.

Our cabin is geared for experienced campers, people with some off-grid experience and those who can practice proper safety protocols associated with being deep in the woods. This cabin is primitive and essentially covered camping you will be warm and dry, but you must be comfortable dealing with forest critters, insects and the unpredictability of Mother Nature.

Outside there is a fire pit, picnic table and a charcoal grill.

WINTER CAMPING... No Heater, but cabin is insulated. If you are a winter activity enthusiast then this is for you. Bring warm sleeping bag and enjoy a winter wonderland. NO AUTOMOBILE ACCESS in winter. Park at the bottom of our property and snow shoe 200 yards to the top.

Guests are welcome to roam our property. Please do not trespass onto neighbors' property. There are miles and miles of hiking / 4-wheeling trails just down Barker Road. (Exit our property left.. About 1/3 mile you will find Lambert Rd. Go up Lambert and find yourself in miles of secluded wooded trails.)

Interested in swimming? (Take left out of our Property 4 miles) Follow Barker road to the end and you will find beautiful Porter Lake. Boating, 2 public beaches and swimming.

Experience the quaint town of Farmington. (Take right out of Property). Only 7 miles away. Plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, churches, and stores to check out. The closest hospital is in Farmington.

Take it easy in the woods at this cozy, off-grid A frame located in the Sebago Lakes Region. Kick back and relax around the fire while being "away from it all" yet still close by to great restaurants, beaches and more!

This cabin is "off grid" and does not have running water or electricity. The space offers solar power that will power all lights, fans as well as charge devices. There is a battery operated pump that gives you potable water out of the sink. A porta potty is on property.

The loft has one queen bed. The common space has a futon couch that can fold into a bed. A cot can be provided if requested ahead of time.

There is a propane fireplace in our space that keeps the cabin nice and warm. The porta potty is not heated.

We welcome well behaved pets to visit with you, with a pet fee. Please make sure you have registered your pets in your reservation or an additional will be incurred.

The space
Cabin 10’by10’ built with reclaimed rustic distressed natural weathered lumber, private, fire pit, benches, picnic table and hammock. The Cabin is 100’ from Old County Road and 200’ from the parking area.
A cell phone booster is at the campground which works good and runs all the time and no wifi or power at the cabins off grid. Shower is located at the cabins.
We are located 2 miles from Route 1 Milbridge and about 2 miles from Route 1A Milbridge and we just fixed the Old County Road and the parking area and the road is settling from being fixed but low cars have been making into the parking area with no problems.
The paths are primitive and not suited for people who have trouble walking on uneven ground.
We provide solar lights, propane stove, propane, battery bank charger, 1 small bottled water per guest and sleeping bags.
Heat provided from Sept 15-June 15.
No Out of State Maine Firewood.
No water at the shower from October 15 to April 30 because of the frost. Downeast Sunrise Trail ATV and Snowmobile accessible.

This cabin #Berrymaine is located approx. 10 mi./20 min. from Mt. Desert Island. Close enough to access Acadia Nat'l Park, Bar Harbor, and Schoodic, but secluded enough to enjoy a quiet respite from the day’s activities. Best for couples/sm families.

The space
This is a camp. For many families in Maine, having a camp (cabin) is a family tradition. Camps are often passed down through generations. This camp is on the one hand rustic, but it is comfortable with modern conveniences such as indoor heat and high speed internet. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a new comfy queen bed, and the other with a new bunk bed. A full kitchen (mini-refrigerator), a full bathroom, and a small heater for cool evenings makes your stay comfortable. The bedrooms do not have doors, however we have curtains for privacy between the bedrooms and kitchen/living area. There is also a mud room/entryway that provides additional room for your gear.
The camp is far enough away from neighbors that you can leave the windows open at night, hearing the wind high in the trees. You will have solitude, quiet and be surrounded by the aroma of white pine and fir needles on a sunny day.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the camp, lawn, private driveway, and private parking. The large lawn is perfect for hanging out in the sun in the afternoon, grilling out for dinner, and stargazing late-night. There is also a nice hammock. Previous renters and guests always remark about the wildlife sightings and quiet surroundings. We even had a moose sighting in the driveway in 2023! Also, from the camp, you can take a short 5 minute drive to Lamoine Beach (free) or Lamoine State Park (fee). Both locations offer a quiet, sandy ocean beach with amazing views of Mount Desert Island where you can take a walk, put your toes in the water, skip rocks, or go clamming.
