Located on the route to Arcadia national park. If you want a treat there is a lovely ice-cream parlour next door. Only very slight niggles is there there was no lifts which if you are on the third floor (2nd if you're from the UK) with a heavy suitcase isn't ideal, and the back ground music needs to turned off at night."

- "Pristine room, get a lot more bang for your buck than surrounding hotels, good location near the water and accessible to nightlife walking, plenty of food close by. " - "We were really impressed with the new hotel. There are only about 16 "rooms" which are all spacious suites with bedroom, bath, living room/full kitchen. Decor is mid-century modern with a grey and white color scheme. There was a turntable and LPs to play in the room. They supplied delicious coffee with the coffee maker. The keyless entry was very easy. Check in is on your phone, which confused us at first, but the manager was there and he was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the waterfront in one direction and to the Portland Museum of Art in the other. If we had a complaint, it was only that at night we could hear the hum of some HVAC unit, which was probably not even associated with the hotel and not under their control. At first we were bothered but then it became "white noise." It was a pleasure for us to stay at The Weldon Hotel."

Our unit was a smaller one, and still large and comfortable. The only note I’d have is that our unit was right above some garage doors that are pretty loud when open/close. Only noticed once during our stay, though. Unit provides kitchen appliances (no dishwasher) and bath has hair dryer, soap and shampoo (note: no conditioner). No laundry in unit, and there is one not quite full length mirror in master closet. Also there is a tabletop ironing board in the master closet, vacuum cleaner in the entry closet. One TV in living room and they use Roku—you can sign into your own account apps like Netflix or Hulu if you want. We had no issues using WiFi and our phone worked fine for cell coverage (ATT). Overall our stay was convenient, clean and comfortable. "
