This beautiful cabin is spacious for large family gatherings yet cozy for a couples weekend. The house has one bedroom on the first floor with a large loft above. The knotty pine decor and wood-burning stove provide the ultimate cozy cabin experience. The garage has a sports bar to watch the games or listen to your favorite tunes while shooting darts or playing pool. The garage loft has a 110” projection screen theater room with 5.1 Dolby surround sound (great for games and movies). There is an outdoor fire pit and a gas grill for your use. The patio has a propane Blackstone grill, and there is a Webber charcoal grill in the garage.

This property is privately tucked into the woods, with great walking paths through the woods, a pond (catch and release only), wildlife and beach access across the street. The cabin is very quaint and cozy with a great view of the woods and the pond.

- "Great, comfortable, CLEAN and very well equipped vacation cottage in a terrific location close to the beach and ATV trails. It's immediately obvious when you check in that the host/owners have put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into providing everything you could need for your stay, from TV to towels to teaspoons, everything is here. We prepared meals in the kitchen each day and it has every tool and utensil you could possibly need and mostly everything is new. The house is super comfortable and decorated in a knotty pine motif throughout which provides a cabin feel. We had never been to the Thumb before and it's hard to imagine a better location. The cottage sits at the end of the road in a mostly private setting, covered by towering oaks and pines. Its about a 4 minute walk to the beautiful, private community beach that even on 4th of July weekend was never crowded. Port Austin is about a 15 minute drive and is a charming village. Definitely try the Bird Creek Farm restaurant, it is outstanding, we went twice. Frank's party store is just 5 minutes from the cottage and has groceries, beer, wine, ice. The lake and beaches are gorgeous in this area and there is plenty to do for families with either young children or teens. We would return again without hesitation."

Nestled among the trees, this cozy cabin has been recently updated with modern details to compliment its charming characteristics and vintage pieces throughout. Our cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 1.5 miles from downtown Caseville, 2.4 miles from the Caseville County Park Beach and 6.8 miles from Sleeper State Park. The backyard includes a firepit, grill and picnic table, all perfect for outdoor entertaining. During the cooler days, enjoy cozying up to the indoor fireplace.

The space
In the warm months, spend the day at the beach, and enjoy the various dining + activity options Caseville & Port Austin have to offer, and spend your nights at the cabin by the campfire. On rainy days or in the cooler months, enjoy your time inside relaxing by the fireplace. Our cabin has been designed to be enjoyed year round with both heating and cooling. Additionally, the cabin is about a 25 minute drive along Lake Huron to Port Austin which has great dining options as well as beaches, kayaking and a Dark Sky Preserve.

Our cabin sleeps 4 comfortably and can accommodate up to 6 guests. It has 2 main bedrooms, each with one queen bed, and the front porch room has been converted to a third bedroom with a queen sofa bed.

The cabin has been recently updated with modern details to compliment its charming characteristics and vintage pieces throughout.

The front porch room also has a desk, for any “work-from-home” needs.

We have access to a private Lake Huron easement through our neighborhood. It's just a short walk, about 8 minutes. The easement is only about 50 feet, but still very peaceful, beautiful, and can accommodate a couple chairs nicely.

**A new things to note: Our cabin does not have a dishwasher and we run on a septic system. The cabin has a lot of its original charm and please note that the shower height is 6' 2”. While our cabin has a secluded, woodsy feel, do have a few neighbors around us, and our backyard backs up to a beautiful wooded lot. Also, since we're nestled within a wooded area, we recommend bug spray for the warmer weather and nights by the fire.

Other things to note
Well water is clear and filtered but would strongly suggest you bring drinking water.. Because it is a well I cannot guarantee the safety for drinking. On the subject of Plumbing, please respect the septic system do not flush any Sanitary products , baby wipes, wet wipes down the toilet. only flush toilet paper. Use the garbage disposal to further rinse dishes. Please do not put big pieces down the garbage disposal. the septic field is new but it's a very unpleasant experience for you as a tenant, if it backs up! Bed linens, towels, beach towels, dishes and silverware are provided. Small amount of condiments. There is a Keurig coffee maker which takes standard Keurig products. Please use bottled water in the coffee maker.
