- "The loft was very clean and comfortable. A lot of work was put into ambiance and it showed. The property was very quiet but still just minutes from down town. The owner was readily available when we had problems locating the lock box, and was very responsive to any concerns we had. My only complaint is the bed was two twins; one pulled out from underneath the other, so my husband and I couldn’t really share a bed. But over all it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely rebook this property again. Highly recommend!"

There is so much to do both in town and nearby here in Pagosa Springs! Wolf Creek ski area gets the most snow in Colorado, is a favorite during winter months, and is 30 min away. There is fishing, camping, canoeing, and climbing in the summer months. Hot Springs are open year-round. Hot Air Balloons will take you up for an amazing adventure year-round and they touch down on a lake. Speaking of lakes – there are 7 in the area! We also have tons of biking trails. The downtown area is full of fun to be had, and it’s about a 45 minute drive to Durango.

- "I’ve stayed many air bnb and vrbos in the past and you can usually tell that its a rental facility. This place however really felt like some one lived in it because everything needed was well thought out and placed. Plenty of coffee, plenty of cooking supplies, extra ingredients, modern bathroom with extra extra towels, toilet paper kleenex soap. The owner did not skimp out. Moreover, the beds, pillows, blankets were soooo good in quality. Finally a place with fluffy pillows that didn’t feel like pancakes. The bedding was a high thread count, according to me wife, which is why i felt like I was home and not using motel blankets like at other rentals. The appliances were so new i had to really inspect them closely to see if there was evidence of usage or if we were the first one using them. Okay, the location is unbeatable if you were in Pagosa Springs for the “city” aspect. Front door dumps you onto Main Street. The hippie springs are literally across the street. It took us 2-3 minutes from bedroom to springs. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. The parks were also across the street. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pagosa when we come back. Lastly, the owner was not overbearing. Many air bnb and vrbo owners bombard you with emails and texts before and during your stay. This owner had the invisible touch where one short email with no contact easy check in and check out, no texts or emails to subconsciously remind you that you’re a guest. Loved it Thank you!"

When was the last time you had this?

- "The property itself is just beautiful. It was a quick 10 minute drive from town. We had the entire lower level to ourselves. It was plenty of room for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The backyard is fenced off so that we could easily let the dogs in and out. The two bedrooms were really good size, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean. There is a kitchen and access to laundry if you need it. What really made the trip for us was our amazing host! Catherine is fantastic. She gave us tips on where to park at the ski resort, where to eat in town, and shops to be sure to check out. We all had a blast! And we would definitely go back and stay here again."

The space
This 900 square foot main (base level) apartment of a 2 story home consists of a full kitchen/living area, bedroom, bathroom, and work desk. The main level does require climbing a flight of stairs, but it enhances the mountain view 10 fold!
While the space can accommodate 3, the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. This makes it ideal for couples or a family with smaller children. The space is not well suited for 4 adults needing privacy.
Additional amenities include a full-size washer/dryer and a second full size fridge for longer stays.
Racks for your skis/snowboards are located on the porch.

Stairs: Please note that while this is a main floor unit, accessing the unit does require ascending 22 stairs.

Other things to note
One of the owners lives upstairs with his ever so loveable dog Tucker. Tucker loves to poke his way around to pay you a visit while on his rounds of the property.
We have gone to great lengths to soundproof the downstairs rental to make your stay comfortable, however, it is not perfect and some noise does travel.
Again, please note reaching the unit from parking area requires ascending 22 stairs to main level. Trust me- the climb up enhances the views. It’s well worth it!

Walk downstairs to enjoy coffee, boba tea, adult bevies, and delicious food from Black Bart's Brunch, or choose from more than 10 other restaurants within a five-minute walk of the apartment, including Riff Raff Brewing Company; owned and operated by your host!
