- "Great location. (Well, nothing is that far away in Santa Fe...except Museum Hill.) The guest rooms are scattered around a brick walking path with places to sit and relax. This place would be really gorgeous later in spring and in the summer when everything is blooming. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Missing in the Don Diego room was any surface on which one could perch a laptop or use as a desk. The gas fireplace was a lovely touch but the thermostat to control it was located on the wall behind the fireplace, so controlling the heat was a bit of a challenge as the warm air didn't seem to reach the thermostat. It felt like the thermostat had a mind of its own, although we tried to set it for our comfort. Still, it did its job. The gourmet breakfast is pricey, unique and delicious. The owners a true foodies who care about what they serve and how they serve it. Truly delightful!"

Welcome to our Camper's Cabin on the Divide #3, a primitive outdoor retreat nestled at the Continental Divide Park & Camp in Historic Pinos Altos, New Mexico. This primitive cabin is one of three cabins onsite, combining rustic charm with basic comforts, making it the perfect simple getaway for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Travel solo, or have your family and friends join you in one of our other cabins, tent sites or full-hookup RV spots. Dog friendly!

The space
SIMPLICITY:
Our cabin offers comfortable bedding, sitting area, and charging ports for electronics. There is a standing fan unit for warmer weather and a thermostat-controlled heating unit for cooler weather, along with all bedding and bath towels for up to 2 guests. While embracing the simplicity of cabin life, we've made sure you don't miss out on the basics. The cabin also has a heater for colder seasons, but please note that this is a camper's cabin and does not have A/C.

RUSTIC AMENITIES:
While the cabin itself has no indoor plumbing, just steps away from the cabin, you'll find an outhouse. For more extensive needs, our bathhouse on the property is equipped with hot showers, ensuring you can freshen up comfortably after a day of adventure. Plus, we've got you covered with a picnic area, charcoal camp grill, potable water and laundry facilities on-site.

PRIME LOCATION FOR OUTDOOR ADVENTURES:
For pass-through hikers and cyclists, we are situated just 2 miles from the Bear Creek Road access to the Continental Divide Trail. Alternatively, the Arrastra Interpretive Site, a mere 1.5 miles down NM State Highway 15, offers another gateway to the CDT from the cabin.

Explore the nearby Gila National Forest and Aldo Leopold Wilderness, a paradise for hikers, road cyclists and nature lovers. These nearby areas boast a plethora of trails and routes through stunning landscapes.

This renovated 1950s style 2-bed/1-bath apartment is part of a duplex and is centrally located in the center of town and one block from Historic US 66! In five minutes, you can be on the freeway or Uptown ABQ and in ten you can be Downtown. Recently updated everything from furniture to appliances and everything in-between. You won’t have to worry about noise or safety. The duplex is quiet and gated (with codes). Parking is gated for one vehicle.

Nearly all the residents in the two-block radius where our unit is located have made their home here for a long time. There are on occasion shelter-insecure people passing through, but they are not aggressive. One reason we like this neighborhood is its diversity: We are home to people occupying various economic strata and who represent a variety of races, ethnicities, and gender expressions. All are welcome here.

***ABQ Homeless/Crime Situation: I have lived in this neighborhood for 13 years. The crime stats are not encouraging. However, in my and my former tenants experience, your individual experience will differ significantly from the crime statistics you read online. You will see homeless temporarily "parked" in this neighborhood. The surrounding community continues to report, and the city continues to clear these campers. As stressed above, this property is entirely gated and none of my tenants have experienced any crime in the time they have lived here.. I know the neighbors on this particular street; most have been here at least several years, usually more.

Tenants are responsible for any amount of a gas or electric bill OVER $40/month. Reason: Some tenants have set thermostat, literally, to 90 degrees, resulting in exorbitant gas bills. This will be billed separately and tenant will be provided a copy of the bill if desired.

Tenants will be asked to wash used bed linens and towels before leaving. Reason: Cleaning crew does not have to wait around for laundry to finish before leaving.

Cute Colorful Small, but Efficient One Bed One Bathroom Guest House. My Place is unique it has that small town feel, Located in the middle of the State. It is equipped with everything you need to cook meals, microwave, stove with an oven full refrigerator and all the dishes , pots and pans. And if there anything that you need you just let me know!
