- "Nice place only thing I wish the housekeepers start mopping the floors " - "The room was fantastic. While the bedroom part was smaller than usual, having a small kitchen made more size than usual. I really appreciated having that kitchen. I also appreciated that the thermostat was easy to put up and down when needed. There was no elevator and I was on the third floor, which suited me fine but is something to know. The problem is that there's no front desk and check-in is done an odd way. They send codes to get in rather than having someone to handle it when you get there. They wanted my credit card number for a deposit in advance, but they didn't say it was for a deposit - they said it was for paying the bill, and I had already pre-paid the bill. I had to call hotels.com several times on the day of travel because I was on a train and therefore the calls kept dropping, but the staff at hotels.com clearly didn't know that the check-in procedure here was peculiar. They kept assuring me I could do things like take care of the deposit when I got there. Which I couldn't have, since no one was there. It all worked out, and I'll know for next time, but be forewarned. "

Great restaurants and night life are literally 5 minutes away. The properties amenities were great. Check in and out was seamless. We will stay here again! The beds were very comfortable. If I were to give any suggestions it would be that the living room needs more comfy furniture. The one tv was located in the living room, and while the couch there is cute and decorative, it isn't super comfortable and only fits 2 people. This didn't have any negative impact on our stay, just an observation. We will be traveling again for appointments and we will definitely be staying here again! Once we got the correct codes to get into the building and the correct WiFi, the rest of our stay was fine. It just took about 4 hours to get it all worked out. The floor in our unit was total concrete. There was no carpet or finished flooring. There was patch work and a couple of good sized cracks. "

- "It was a great place to stay, and the booking was very communicative but there was no toilet paper and no hand soap, the amenities needed were not provided" - "The apartment was beautiful, clean, pleasant, quiet. But Barsala's operations were terrible. It's actually a company called Landing (or contracts with it) and their "local/urgent" contact is actually in another state and not on duty after 5pm (when check-in is). The arrival instructions were not entirely accurate. When I found the room, I couldn't get the door open -- fussy key/doorknob. I called the main hotline and was sent to an offshore call center. They called the emergency maintenance guy, who had to drive half an hour to help me get in. Huge inconvenience for him and me. Then the wifi network didn't exist. The automated line sent me another one that didn't exist. The two actual humans from Landing who I got in touch with said they would send a tech out to fix it, but never did. And there was no obvious password for any common area wifi there might have been. Another really frustrating failure when I was there on a work trip and needed access to the internet. I understand they're trying to operate in an asset-lite model, it's not that expensive, and I appreciate being able to stay in an apartment, but yeesh -- you should at least deliver what you say you will. "
