Our door broke but they were so gracious in handling it and got us to another room with a better view and comp drinks. We had a fantastic dinner at Artisan and made our way to downtown for the Cherry Drop. Next time I think I would book 2 nights to fully enjoy it. Highly recommended as a local TC person. The bed was comfy and the shower hot (although the presure was lackluster, I like the pressure to wash away my sins because it's so strong). I talk to multlple cleaning staff and they were super nice. If you see Mary give her a big hug from me. I would say the only improvements is the light in the bedroom has a error where it would turn off after a minute."

Michigan won and as the game came to a close we were informed that they were closing. Patrons including us were celebrating the first championship in 27 yrs. We were all disappointed we couldn't celebrate this event for a bit. This will factor in our future decisions as to where to stay and watch events in the future. Also disappointed that the jets in the hot tub are still not working properly. Soap dispenser in bathroom is not in order and neither is the paper towel dispenser. This facility is accommodating but there is some issues with infrastructure that need attention."

Daisy Cottage is a beautifully remodeled home with many upgrades sure to make your stay enjoyable.

Enter into the great room which is open and provides plenty of space to spend quality time together. The cozy living room area offers a flat-screen TV with basic cable and a gas fireplace. A formal dining space is perfect for dinners together. The fully equipped kitchen complete with a center island offers everything you could need for a meal at home - except the food of course!

Head down the hall where you'll find two separate retreats for a great night's sleep. Both bedrooms offer a queen-sized bed and an ensuite full bathroom. One bathroom has a convenient walk-in shower and the other has a shower tub combo. Something for the needs of everyone.

The outside space of this home is a real gem. The spacious screen porch offers a relaxing sectional sofa perfect for hanging out together or sipping your morning coffee while listening to the birds welcoming the day. Just off the screen porch is a patio with a picnic table and private hot tub. What a great way to end the day by soaking in the hot tub under the stairs. For a real adventure, there is an outdoor shower complete with both hot and cold water.

Located only 1 mile from downtown Douglas and 2 miles to downtown Saugatuck, you will have plenty to do during your stay. From fine and casual dining and Broadway-quality theater to endless ice cream flavors and shops galore, there is something for everyone.

This home is located in a residential community. Quiet hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. EST are strictly enforced. Parties and loud or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.
The outdoor shower is only available for use during the summer months. 
The fireplace is only available for use during the winter months. 
The hot tub is available for use year-round.

The entire space is all natural consisting of only log, stone and tongue & groove wood. The more you look into the True Nature, the more fun you’re going to discover.

Wether you’re looking for a tranquil retreat, a couples getaway, family fun or a gathering place for friends, hunters, fisherman, boaters, the book (wine) club, golfers or orv enthusiasts to simply eat, drink & be merry - or all of the above rolled into one - the True Nature never disappoints.

20 Individual Beds: 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 pull-out sleeper sofas, 4 queen & 11 twin size air mattresses.

The Basics:
Everything in this space from the door mats to the furniture, beds & interactive decor was chosen with your comfort, relaxation, serenity and enjoyment in mind. The intention & vision was filling this cabin with tranquility & a unique variety of fun for all ages. If anything whatsoever falls short of your expectations please let us know and we will do our absolute best to swiftly correct this & ensure you have a perfectly wonderful stay.

There are three fireplaces, a variety of games through out & an eclectic assortment of rare steins, viking horns, and various drinking mugs and glasses. House rule: the drinking of beer is to be done from a stein or horn. You don’t choose it, it chooses you. You’ll see.

The back yard is especially spacious & enchanting and perfect for weddings with over 60 solar powered hanging lanterns to light up your evening.

The living room has a 70” Hd smart tv & each of the three bedrooms has a 55” Hd smart tv. Login to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc, or simply use airplay or cast. There are also three blue tooth speakers.

With a typical drip style coffee machine, a Keurig, a French press, an espresso machine, grinder & frothing pitcher, you can rest easy knowing we understand and are not messing around with the coffee situation at the True Nature. We get it, and pride ourselves on thinking ahead so you don’t have to think at all. Just show up & have fun.

Retreats - Solo, Couples, Friends Gathering:
This is a most ideal retreat space. You can actually hear the silence here, 24/7. It’s amazing frankly. The view of nature from both the front and back decks is divine. Enjoy a head-clearing, energy activating private & serene walk or jog through 9 acres of woods on widened trails accessed directly through the backyard, anytime you like. Exit the driveway and head in any direction for additional trails & inspiring views.

Family Fun:
With it’s spacious floor plan and tavern-like dining room, 3,500 game 4 player arcade machine, electronic dartboard, air hockey & ping pong table, 9’ shuffleboard table, rustic renditions of all the classic board games, ring toss, 21 / hook game, table top shuffle boards, top shelf poker set, outdoor washers, cornhole, and real-club outdoor golf game this space will keep the fun going (or just the kids out of your hair) all week long.

Golfers:
This space is within 15 minutes of the Tree Tops & The Otsego courses, and comes equipped with a back yard cornhole-like golf game using real clubs to warm up & hone your swing. This is your chance to finally see what it’s like to tee off on time, warmed up.

Hunters:
While hunting & gutting on the 10 acre property is not permitted by the host, it is also not necessary as it’s only a three minute walk through the backyard and you’re into 500 acres of state land.

Fishing, Boating, Water Sports & Beach:
Otsego Lake is the largest lake in the Gaylord area & is just 15 mins away. It's an all-sports lake with paved public boat launches, docks, restrooms, picnic areas and beaches.

ORV Enthusiasts:
8 acres of trails in the backyard. 8 acres of trails in the backyard. That is not a typo, I just like typing it as much as you like reading it. As if that weren’t enough - make a left out of the driveway, and another left on the dirt road about 200 yards or so - and there are more ORV trails than you could cover. Of course, do give it your best.

The space
The main house features a spacious bedroom and 1.5 baths, while a charming guest cottage provides an additional bedroom, den, and full bath, all separated by a lush, private courtyard.

As you step inside the main house, you’ll be greeted by an open living, dining kitchen area with gas fireplace. This inviting space is perfect for relaxation and entertainment. This kitchen has everything you need, whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or a gourmet dinner. There's also a half-bath on this floor.

Upstairs in the main house is the spacious primary suite featuring a vaulted ceiling, built-in wardrobe and comfortable king bed. This bedroom also has an en-suite full bathroom and a fully screened-in outdoor porch with a gas fireplace. It's the perfect escape year round.

Behind the main house is a fully enclosed courtyard with a gas grill and a gas firepit, surrounded by Adirondacks.

Upon entering the guest cottage, you'll find the den on the first floor, which has a sofabed, desk and TV. Upstairs is an open bedroom with a full-sized bed and full bathroom. In the basement of the guest cottage, you'll find the laundry room.

The property is dog-friendly and has a fully fenced-in courtyard. You're welcome to bring up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs along, but please let us know when booking if your pet(s) will be joining you.

So that we can continue welcoming dogs to the house, we ask that you please wipe their paws before entering, keep them off furniture, pick up after them, and do not leave them at the house unattended.

As part of your reservation, you’ll be asked to sign a standard liability waiver covering use of the hot tub and any recreational amenities. This ensures all guests understand and accept the safety guidelines and risks involved. Please be sure to complete this before your arrival so we can confirm your reservation.
