The location is situated in a lovely, quiet, green suburb of the Alpine town of Thones, small enough to be charming and with splendid views, but with all conveniences within a couple of minutes drive - unlike staying in many resorts. There is a fantastic collection of ski areas (alpine, nordic, touring) in the general area within 30-minutes drive away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this clean, conveniently-located and modern chalet; it was just what we needed and we would recommend it to future tenants."

Built 1954, on a plane grounds of easy access, the chalet "Les Lupins" has been totally renoved in September 2010. Absolutely nothing was missing in terms of utensils which was great for our entirely self-catered holiday. There is even a Raclette maker which is a great meal on a cold winter’s evening. The shower with multiple body jets felt like pure luxury at the end of a cold winter’s day. The location of the chalet was perfect - nestled away in the quiet area of Les Tines, right next to the river and forest and near the golf course. What better way to wake up in the morning to the view of the mountains and having breakfast on the sunbathed veranda. Bus and trains stops are 2 minutes walk from the chalet and offer very good connections to all major ski lifts in the valley and Chamonix town. It was the perfect combination of staying in quiet, undisturbed and natural surroundings, yet being able to enjoy the vibe of Chamonix centre as well as having access to all other areas of the Chamonix valley. All in all a perfect holiday in a lovely chalet in a beautiful spot of the world. "

We found the location perfect, as it is still flat enough to go running, but close to supermarkets and the skiing area. We had a very warm welcome at the location by Jaqueline & Marc who introduced us to their house and all interiors. We really loved all the details of it and the high quality of the installations like the kitchen and the oven. The week we had went by just too fast and therefore we had to return, but with very good memories on board. Thanks to Jaqueline and Marc for being our hosts and hopefully see you again."
