Welcome to Behind Home Plate. This studio cottage is located in Indian Mound Beach community with a bay beach at the end of the street. Bring your bikes because the Cape Cod Canal and Onset Village are only minutes away. Easy access to Plymouth, Cape Cod, Boston and Providence. Golf is only minutes from here along with many great restaurants. What a great place to make home base while you explore this area with so much to enjoy.

The space
The cottage sits right behind the main house with a courtyard in between. Its a studio, meaning it is an open concept with defined areas, such as livingroom, kitchenette with NO stove and 2 steps up into the bedroom area. It is filled with many momentos, such as my grandmothers pieplates...items the children made growing up...and also special bats, balls and pictures of prior baseball guests. There is no door on the bedroom. It has a private bath with shower. Wifi and Roku tv are available. Walking distance to some restaurants and Dollar Store. A residents only beach is located at the end of the street that guests have access to.

Guest access
Guests have access to the cottage and the patio area with a picnic table and grill. We just ask they clean up after themselves in those areas. We walk through the courtyard to access our home. The beach is at the end of the street. If you drive to the beach, go left out of the driveway to the end, cross over and continue straight down the hill, parking is on the left side of the street only. And dogs are not allowed on the beach, but its a wonderful neighborhood to walk your dog...just pick up after please.

Other things to note
No Smoking or Vaping, EVER inside the cottage. $100 fine will be assessed if determined you have. Please understand there is only a day inbetween guests and it is very difficult to get the smell out and intense extra cleaning is required.
Stop and Shop supermarket is only minutes down the road. And the Dollar Store across the highway at the street entrance. The Breakfast Nook is a great breakfast place almost right across the street.Down the road towards Buzzards Bay is East Wind Lobster and Grille.(one of my favorites) Here everything is fresh...steamers, lobsters, ect. Seasonal deck seating.

My place is close to the Amherst MA five college area. You’ll love my place because of natural setting, quiet and relaxed ambiance. There are miles of trails for hiking and X-country skiing. Great food and live entertainment just 13 miles away in Northampton MA.,Taxi or Uber available. When enjoying the Pioneer Valley end your day in tranquility at The 135.

Welcome to this bright, spacious place with hardwood floors and plenty of sunlight. The highway is close & Boston is 40 min. It's easy to go to Boston/NYC/Montreal. Larger groups such as construction, marathoners are welcome. The driveway has 3 parking spots. I have a doctorate and do medical research. For social distancing, Since the pandemic the whole place is only available to one group including the bathroom and kitchen which are also not shared during the group's stay.

The space
This place is within easy access to Boston being a mile from the highway (495). The accommodation is spacious and sunlit. There is a large walk-in closet in the bedroom and a small closet in the adjoining room.

Driving:

-If you're driving here on I-495 (either northbound or southbound), take exit 63-B (towards Southboro--this is the shortest route) and then immediately take a right on Felton street just before the Shell gas station/Dunkin Donuts and continue on Felton for a quarter mile past the Marriott Courtyard .

-I-90 (East/West) is within a short drive on I-495 South.

-Free parking is available on the street in front of the house.

-In the Boston Metropolitan area, it is best to avoid driving during rush hour which is from 7 to 10AM (into Boston) and 3-7PM (away from Boston).

Public Transportation:

-There is a bus stop across from a 7-11 (5 minute walk from house) with service to Framingham commuter rail station (bus does not run on Sundays).

-This commuter rail will take you to Boston's South Station.

-There is a free bus shuttle (silver line) from and to Boston's Logan International airport to and from South Station.

Close by Stores/Entertainment:

-The Apex Entertainment center is within 1.5 miles of the house. This place has plenty of restaurants along with a bowling alley, a virtual reality park, a trampoline park, Planet fitness along with other entertainment options.

-There is a Walmart within a 7 minute driving distance.

-Starbucks coffee stores are also close by (there is one in the Apex Center).

-There are two convenience stores within 5 minutes walking distance.

-Gas station is located within a minute's drive.

-There is a mall in Marlborough within a 10-15 minute drive from the house (Solomon Pond Mall). This mall has various stores including Best Buy and Sears.

Also please note that because of medical reasons, no animals are allowed on the property.

This is a very quiet and safe neighborhood. There are banks close by with the closest located a quarter mile from the house. Groceries, Starbucks and restaurants are also close by. There is also a police substation across from the same 7-11 (5 min walk from the house).

Guest access
Entire through the side door by the parking area and use the passcode to unlock the door. You'll have the entire lower-level space to yourself, including one bedroom, a living room, and a private bathroom.

Please note that the curtained area and upstairs are off-limits to guests. Enjoy your stay!

Your bright and welcoming private guest suite, located on the lower floor of our home, features a private entrance, king bedroom, full bath, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and washer/dryer. Situated in a quiet neighborhood 8 miles to Boston, 2-min to the Mass Pike, and a 5-15 min walk to the bus or commuter rail to Boston. Curl up with a cup of tea in the evening and enjoy coffee, breakfast bars, and yogurt in the backyard in the morning. We would love to host you!

The space
Private entrance: Walk the stone path and descend six steps to the private entrance at the back of our home. Enter using a keyless system.

Bedroom: Enjoy a king mattress, bedside tables, two side chairs, dresser, luggage stand, and closet. Use your own credentials to login onto your streaming platforms on the Smart TV or use a USB cable to plugin your computer. (**No** cable or live TV.)

Full bath: For your convenience, the walk-in shower is equipped with tea tree shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Breakfast: Help yourself to caf or decaf coffee from the Keurig machine, numerous teas, breakfast bars, and yogurt.

Heat and A/C: You control the temperature with a whisper-quiet mini-split system. No noisy A/C window units!

Parking: Off-street parking for one car.

Outdoors: You'll have access to a large shared backyard with garden chairs.

Guest access
We understand the importance of privacy during your stay. You'll have exclusive access to the guest suite. You'll use a keyless lock to access the private entrance of the unit.

During your stay
We resides in the same house where the private suite. We value your privacy. We do not own pets. During your stay, we're on-site for any needs you may have. We tend to be in and out, but always a text away!

Other things to note
Unfortunately, we are not able to host young children due to safety concerns with an open outdoor staircase.

Stay in a private, bright, spacious, and relaxing guest suite in Bedford, MA. Close to historic Concord and Lexington.

You will be renting the entire suite to yourselves with your own separate entrance away from ours. Whilst the guest suite is attached to the main property, there is no direct access between this and the guest suite.

The space
Our one-bedroom in-law suite is located in Bedford, MA - a leafy, quiet suburb outside of Boston.

The suite is attached to, but cannot be accessed directly from, our house. Whilst the suite is private with a separate entrance, at times you may see or hear us and our friendly dog Maggie in the backyard or see us tending to our chickens, bees, and garden. We respect your privacy and make every effort to not disturb you. We are always available for questions or last minute needs. The bathroom and kitchenette/fridge have basic conveniences to make the start of your stay easier.

The suite has a living room/dining area, private full bath with shower, one separate bedroom (with a double bed and a separate single bed that pulls out to a queen bed). We accept a maximum of 3 guests (number of guests to be confirmed with us prior to arrival) and 1 well-behaved, good-natured dog. There is a kitchenette that has a refrigerator/freezer, sink, and convenient appliances for simple meals (microwave, induction one-range portable stove, toaster, airfryer, coffee maker, electric water kettle). It has central air-conditioning / heating, fast-speed wifi, a portable Bose Mini Speaker, and tv with Netflix, and Disney+ (no cable tv). There are no laundry facilities. There is parking for 1 car only.

Guest access
When you arrive, you can pull into the parking area to the side of our garage in front of the white fence. The entrance is through the white gate and just round the left corner of the house. On the day of your arrival, we will give you a keyless lock combination that is unique to you during your stay.

Other things to note
The house sits on a beautiful property and has a separate outside table with chairs and BBQ grill for you to use. The space is suitable for individuals, couples, and small families who are seeking somewhere to get away from the business of it all, love access to nature, and want accessibility to the city (we are approx 15 miles to Boston center which can take from 30 minutes to 1 hour to get to, depending on the time of day and traffic).

The property is located one mile from US Route 3 and approximately 3 miles to I95 highway and is centrally located to businesses in Bedford, Burlington, Billerica, Chelmsford, Concord, and Lexington.

Reminders: This is a non-smoking residence and property, no parties are allowed. Check-in is 3pm, checkout is 11am.

Other things to note
We live just on the other side of the house but you may see us coming and going to feed the chickens, collecting vegetables from the garden, or checking on our bees. We also have a firepit, which we do use; however, if there are times that you would like to use this, please let us know in advance and we can provide you with some wood/fire starting materials. Please note, that we do have a trampoline and hot tub on the property, but these are not available for guest use.
