June to Sept TUESDAY TO TUESDAY rental to save you on flight costs. This holiday home has all the character of stone vaulted rooms and a conical trullo but with the convenience of a newly renovated, well insulated design. Very good unlimited wifi included. Modern bathrooms and kitchen with professional cooker. Look out from the veranda over the pool to the Agaves and Olive trees, or from the roof terrace, great for evening parties, to the Adriatic or the beautifully lit Carovigno and its castle. Seven minutes drive to Ostuni, the white city, "the jewel of Puglia" with its wonderful old city to explore by day or enjoy in the warm night air. Relax in old bars, or the sophisticated modernity melted into the solid stone. Carovigno has a lot to offer from gourmet to great value restaurants with fantastic food and low prices. The Tuesday to Tuesday rental from June to September is to help with what have been increasing flight costs, and to help those from airports with only a few flights per week and especially one on Tuesday like Edinburgh, and many smaller airports in Europe. And it works for the larger airports too where they have flights every day of the week.

Farmhouse Villa Lean is a beautiful, private homestead nestled in the hills of Tuscany’s wine country above the ancient walled village of Lucca . The original farmhouse was previously owned by David Lean, the famous film director; who fell in love with the breathtaking views but never started the restoration work. Tuscany lost corner:
During your stay at the Villa, you have the opportunity to do what we call a mountain villages tour.It’s essentially another way of getting off the beaten track! Just like in a safari, we are going to drive around our district to explore small hamlets, villages, historical landmarks, castle ruins and artistic jewels such as the “pievi” that normally get unnoticed by travelers taking “different” roads.

We can also drive through off-road trails to admire the local flora and fauna and visit the breathtaking canyon of ‘Orrido Di Botri’ where it is possible to have the rare opportunity to see the eagle in its natural habitat. You can access the canyon overcoming big rocks partly on foot or by wading through chest high deep pools of crystal water for a couple of hours to complete the whole track. Helmets will be provided at the entrance. It is also possible to admire the “Orrido” from above, hiking on a one hour and half loop trail
If it’s very hot we may end up for a super refreshing swim in the pools of the Lima creek and a enjoy a good ice-cream at the end of the tour.
Lunch breaks included .This tour almost takes the whole day, say from 9,30 am to 6pm.

- "So much to say about our stay at Villa Lean. It was a dream come true to spend a week with Monica and Giovanni and the wonderful authentic spirit that is their way of being. The Villa itself is like something of the old way of family living, rustic and charming in every way . Monica is a wonderful cook and though she was suffering from the extreme heat she still cooked 2 amazing meals for our family of 10 including 4 hungry boys 17-20 and arranged a table for us at lovely nearby restaurant one evening . The pool was a godsend and well used in the heat. 3 rambunctious adorable puppies provided much entertainment with their antics! The highlight (for all but 3 of us who went to bike the Lucca Wall) was the mountain village excursion that Giovanni guided in his Land Rover one day - it was adventurous and amazing according to the participants !!! We would be remiss if we did not mention Monica’s fabulous goat cheeses! They became a daily staple beyond what we were treated to at dinners. All in all so many memories were made and all of us will remember our time there for many years to come. Thank you Monica and Giovanni - Ciao 💕"

Casa Pergola is a once olive mill, lovingly restored farmhouse set in the beautiful Sicilian countryside. The house is a short drive to the beaches and coastal villages of the north coast. Vibrant Palermo "Italy's City of Culture for 2018" is 30 minutes away, and the Madonie Mountain hill cities are a short drive to the East. In winter there is skiing in the mountains and beautiful nights by the fire place which is massive and romantic. Some amenities include heated saltwater pool, and hand made shower mosaics in the bathrooms. The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable.

Casa Pergola is a swimmers delight. A private 3.5 X 11 meter pool here at the house and beautiful beaches with ancient towers and seaside villages are a short distance away. We have a large barbecue area and outdoor dining is either under the olive trees, shade of the wisteria or on our dramatic roof terrace. Come and stay I guarantee you will be happy you did!

Situata di fronte al Sud, ad oltre 350 metri sul livello del mare, proprio nel mezzo del parco naturale del Monte Serra, la proprietà dispone di 6000 metri quadrati di uliveto e frutteto, completamente recintato, con due cancelli d'ingresso ed ampio piazzale per il parcheggio. La villa si trova molto vicino al grazioso villaggio di Buti (un villaggio di origine romana). E' una bella zona turistica, con oltre 12 ristoranti (il più vicino si può raggiungere in 5 minuti a piedi), molte caffetterie ed un piccolo mercato alimentare, dove è possibile acquistare del buon cibo toscano BIO. In estate il villaggio ospita molte manifestazioni, un bel modo per incontrare la popolazione locale. Il posto è strategico per un turista, siamo a 30/40 minuti in auto per tutte le principali attrazioni della Toscana; Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Vinci (casa di Leonardo da Vinci) e nello stesso tempo è anche possibile raggiungere il bel mare della Versilia e Forte dei Marmi. Se non vuoi spostare la tua auto, la villa è perfetta. In effetti sarebbe difficile non passare del tempo nella nostra meravigliosa piscina di 12 x 6,5 metri, con una profondità che va da 1,2 m a 1,5 m. La piscina è attrezzata con giochi d'acqua e idromassaggi ( impianto di massaggio ai piedi, nuoto controcorrente, cascata dalla montagna con piccola piscina per bambini, 2 letti geyser, cannone ad acqua, doppio idromassaggio) che lo rende una vera e propria vasca termale. E' anche circondata da flussi d'acqua vaporizzata per godersi il sole senza soffrire la temperatura calda. La casa è molto confortevole, c'è un barbecue esterno ed un forno per pizza, un portico di 9 x 5 metri dove gustare le vostre cene, una smart TV da 65 pollici, una sauna, perfetto per il momento di relax (l'uso della sauna non è incluso nel soggiorno). La casa dispone di 4 camere da letto, tutte con letto matrimoniale. Nella camera a piano terra è aggiunto un letto singolo. Ci sono due bagni, uno al piano terra (con doccia) ed uno al 1° piano (con doccia). La cucina ha un fornello ed induzione, completamente elettrico, quindi non c'è il gas in casa. Tutte queste cose rendono la nostra Oasi la sede perfetta per la tua vacanza in Toscana. Ideale per amanti della bici. Casa Fantone is a typical stunning detached farmhouse, 300 years old, remodelled and updated with a wide private garden and park of 5 hectares and a private pool of 6 x 12 meters using salt instead of chlorine. The villa has modern kitchen and bathroom facilities, but it still gives one the feeling of stepping back in history. 1. Firenze airport
Take A1 motorway, south direction ( Roma ) and exit 'Firenze sud' gate.
1.1 Drive to direction of: 'Bagno a Ripoli', Pontassieve, 'Passo della Consuma', Bibbiena, ( SR 70).
1.2. At Ponte a Poppi cross the Arno river to the village of Poppi and go to 'Larniano' direction. One kilometer and half, after Larniano church, on the left there is the villa.

POPPI, is at the center of the Casentino valley, a valley among the most beautiful in Tuscany.
It's a medieval walled city and at the top dominates the Castle of the Counts Guidi ( Conti Guidi ), the work of the famous family of architects Di Cambio, 'prototype' of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Built in the thirteenth century, it is characterized by a façade of mullioned windows, the center of which comes off a high tower, and surrounded by a wall with battlements Guelfi and a wide moat. PARCO delle FORESTE CASENTINESI
The Park stands out as one of the most prized forest areas in Europe. At the heart of the park are the Foreste Demaniali Casentinesi [State Casentino forests], within which can be found the Riserva Naturale Integrale (Integral Nature Reserve) of Sasso Fratino, founded in 1959. The territory also has towns and villages rich in history and artistic and architectural heritage, which present themselves to the visitor in a wonderful natural frame, rich in flora and fauna, including the most important population of the Apennine wolf, as well as the exceptional presence of five species of ungulates (mammals with hooves): wild boar, roe deer, fallow deer, common deer, and mouflon (mountain sheep).
Inside the park there are two points of great interest and spiritual importance: the Sanctuary of La Verna and the Hermitage of Camaldoli. At La Verna St. Francis of Assisi had the stigmata.
The protected area can be visited by pleasant excursions on foot, mountain bike, horseback along a path network of approximately 600 kilometres.
Poppi has also a zoo, with local fauna, but not only.

SHOPS & SERVICES
S.Martino and Quota are the nearest villages to the property, 1,5 miles far from the villa. They have a grocery and a bar. Quota has also a family restaurant. Ponte a Poppi, far 3 miles, has supermarkets, restaurants and any other kind of shop. In Bibbiena, 5 miles away, there is a wide and new commercial centre: 'COOP of Casentino'. There is also the Casentino valley hospital. Every day of the week there is an outdoor market in some of Casentino's villages. Tuesday is the Ponte a Poppi day for its open market. The fourth Saturday of each month, in Bibbiena, it’s possible to buy agricultural products directly from the producer. Every first week end of the month in Arezzo there is an important fair of antiques.
At the villa it is possible to buy organic olive oil from Casa Fantone olives. You can also buy Chianti wine.
You find a bottle of these products in the welcome basket.
Two outlet are available: Foiano della Chiana outlet, Montevarchi outlet.

Hospitality and Privacy.
The property is rented to only one party and only the people of this party live into the villa. My family, who became the Casa Fantone owner almost a century ago, lives in a little village 1.5 miles far from the farmhouse. We are satisfied of our work only if our guests have no problems. Friendliness, a welcome basket with some local products as a bottle of Casa Fantone organic olive oil, any information and help are offered. We will care for everything that is necessary to allow Casa Fantone’s guests a good holiday.
Houseguests can taste natural fruit and vegetables from the garden, when they are available. They can also buy olive oil and Chianti wine.
For stays of 2 weeks or more a welcome breakfast, based on the Mediterranean diet, is offered at the owner's house.
The villa offers a great privacy. Twelve acres of private garden ( cypress, olive trees, apple trees, grape trees, flowers, meadows, vegetable garden...) around the villa are fenced. You enter through an automatic gate enjoying freedom, silence and a beautiful place.

Villa Tenuta Lonciano is a beautiful stone farmhouse dating back to the thirteenth century, formerly used as a convent, located in a very quiet and panoramic position on the slopes of Mount Morello from which you can enjoy a splendid view over the valley of Florence (about 10 km away).
The property is fully fenced and is surrounded by 82,000 m2 of land with fruit trees, aromatic plants, pastures and woods of oak, fir, cypress and olive trees. Inside the property there is a beautiful garden (1000 m2) on several levels and a swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests. The house is well furnished and very comfortable.
About 10 meters away there is a completely separate villa (Villa Ancora, which is also in our catalogue) that shares only the entrance way with Villa Tenuta Lonciano.
The nearby natural park of Monte Morello offers the possibility of pleasant walks in contact with nature.

- "If you think this place looks gorgeous from the photographs then you will be stunned by the views in real life! I had been admiring the place through pictures for months before our booking but had not expected something quite so beautiful and breath-taking. We were greeted at the gate by the fabulous Daniele who was welcoming and informative, and had arranged a snack buffet with water and juices for our arrival. As he showed us around the villa each room was more beautiful than the last, to the point of not knowing which room to choose! Each room is personalised by it's own theme (cherry, olive, lemon etc etc) and each equipped with it's own working en-suite. It was lovely having such a cosy and stunning bedroom but really you don't want to spend much time indoors after seeing the garden. The first time Daniele showed us the garden my jaw was permanently fixed to the ground because of it's beauty. Rolling hills of greenery and the distant shimmer of the nearest town in the distance make for a stunning view, of which the sunset is spectacular. Considering the villa sleeps 17 people, you're never short of somewhere to sit. Comfy sun loungers overlook the swimming pool and the view and then there's a shaded area with comfy sofas and heavenly white linen swaying in the breeze! I went with a group of 17 old school friends which could be quite daunting for an owner but Daniele was welcoming, helpful and friendly and we definitely will be returning (if Daniele will have us!!) to the lovely Tenuta Lonciano! The most beautiful place i've ever been. Highly recommended!"

But the almost unique advantage of the house is the large and air-conditioned veranda (40 sqm) facing south with sea views and enclosed on three sides with large sliding windows, ideal for enjoying the sea and the sun all day in any weather and at any season, "shade in the summer, the winter sun."
It is not the usual roof open and exposed to the wind and the cold of winter: for this is also available in monthly rent to retired couples who want to escape the rigors of the northern regions, however, the whole house is air-conditioned for hot and cold.

There are places in the world that give you the feeling of having a more colour-sensitive view. Ancient places that make us make peace with ourselves. Villa Turchese, in Alghero, is one of these places. A magical villa. An ancient villa, which as such must be chosen, loved and respected.

The tranquillity that this place will give you is unique. The town of Alghero is very close, less than 1 km away, yet it seems so far away that you can enjoy the calm within the walls of the garden among the mulberry trees.

From the terrace of the villa the view of the sunset over the sea will be marvellous.

Villa Turchese is a cosy old farmhouse dating back to the seventeenth century, almost in the centre of Alghero, recently restored with taste and care, preserving the old architectural features and the original materials, such as the beautiful terracotta and wooden floors. - "We have just returned from a very pleasant stay in Villa Turchese. The property is spacious and comfortable but the real beauty of the place is it's spacious grounds, well maintained pool and panoramic views from the roof. Gennaro the owner could not have been more helpful. We did encounter an electrical fault with the dishwasher and a problem with sediment in the water, but Gennaro was immediately available to help us, though I suspect a property of this age requires on-going maintenance. As there is no air conditioning at the property, I would suggest a visit out of season would be more comfortable and perhaps a few extra fans would have helped keep us cool. It was 35 degrees most days during our stay! Gennaro's Agent, Mercedes was incredibly helpful to us and organised our car hire which we had not arranged in advance. She had lots of tips and advice on places to visit, restaurants and activities and it was reassuring to know we could contact her at any time. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday!"
