The space
Single story 900 square foot house with 10x11 foot bedrooms. Original artwork by local artists. Guests may use the kitchen and all appliances, dishes, flatware in it. Just don’t run the microwave and tea kettle at the same time. Plenty of extra large towels available.
The bed features a high quality queen mattress, cotton sheets, memory foam pillows, down comforter, duvet, and handmade quilt. The room has a work space and view of the backyard garden.

All spaces including the living room, dining room, basement, 3 season porch, back and front yards. The garage is not open to guests.

Other things to note
There is one adult cat, Mia, who lives in the house. She mostly keeps to herself but will probably greet you when you come in. I may take her with me if I’m traveling. Please ask if you are concerned whether or not she’ll be there.

The space
This site is not in a campground. It is on our 2.5 acre property. There aren't other amenities available on the property, so it's not going to work for you if your camper doesn't have a bathroom or a composting toilet.

This site is and most of the open areas of the property are open to guests. We just ask that guests don't enter the main house or shop/outbuilding and don't come on the main house's concrete patio. The fire pit towards the front of the property, archery range (when used with proper precautions) and chicken coop are all areas that our guests have access to.

Built in early 1900's the home is full of historic charm and has been maintained with excellence by the previous owner. Beautiful dark wood throughout.

We've created this space with a desire to serve those coming and going from the hospital across the street. We have heard of many professionals looking for short term housing while they work here in this beautiful city. Family and friends would find this a great place to stay while visiting their loved ones who may be admitted to the world class care at the hospital.

No matter your reason to be in Albert Lea, we would love to make you feel at home in any of the four private rooms or you could book the whole house if you like!
